That any smear tests for girls aged under 25 in england get ignored by the labs
so a GP can agree to give a girl a smear for what ever reason, send it to the lab and they just dispose of the swab/slide and send a letter saying ur too young we won't test you:eek:
I thought that under 25's could still have a smear if they asked for one, which is true but they won't ever get looked at by the lab!
My friend had to have treatment at 18 and again at 24 for pre-cancerus cells! That is shocking! And bloody scary!0 -

I've been lurking but a bit scared of posting.
I went into premature labour, 17 weeks early and thought we were going to lose bump. It did eventually stop but I had to stay in hospital for a while.
Its lovely to hear of all the births, congratulations to everyone. And you cheered me up no end reading the thread last night!!
Well after everything I said about not wanting to know the sex, I asked when they were scanning me in hospital as we thought we might not get to see.
I was so convinced we were having a boy but we are not....she's pink!!!
I think im settling down now and will try to continue posting but just felt I was jinxing things by posting sooner....xxx
Scary stuff! Lots of sticky baby vibes for you! We dont want any babies before 36 weeks please!0 -
