Morning girls.....sorry I havent posted for a long time but things have been a bit traumatic...

I've been lurking but a bit scared of posting.

I went into premature labour, 17 weeks early and thought we were going to lose bump. It did eventually stop but I had to stay in hospital for a while.

Its lovely to hear of all the births, congratulations to everyone. And you cheered me up no end reading the thread last night!!

Well after everything I said about not wanting to know the sex, I asked when they were scanning me in hospital as we thought we might not get to see.

I was so convinced we were having a boy but we are not....she's pink!!!

I think im settling down now and will try to continue posting but just felt I was jinxing things by posting sooner....xxx
Aww hun, glad your labour managed to stop, just take it real easy now hun x
Did you get put on the drip to stop it? I had it and felt like I was coked up off me nut for 5 days

I try not to look at the list!
And I keep putting off packing my bag :naughty:
I'm now convinced this baby is going to have to be dragged out of me overdue, it will be just my luck!

No they gave me tablets....was a long road but the first doc said they wouldnt do anything as i was not 24 weeks....2nd doc gave me morphine as they said this relaxed the uterus and may stop it....I was away with the fairies!! Then I saw a 3rd doc and he said as i was almost there he would give me some muscle relaxant and this helped, then it started again so they gave me another kind and this stopped it totally....but im 24 weeks today so feel a bit happier that if something did happen at least now they would help x

Not long got back from the Doctors.

I waddled in, sat down and I said I needed one last sick note for a fortnight.

He asked me what was wrong - I said same thing as usual, I can't walk/stand for long as I've got SPD.

He asked me how long I'd been off work - I said since January, I've had physio but nothing has helped.

He then said - how come you are so sure that you only need a note to cover a fortnight?

I said - Because in 2 weeks I start my Maternity leave.

    He said.............

Maternity leave? Oh, are you pregnant, why didn't you say so??  :rotfl:

He had my bloody notes up on the screen, so I just said, very sarcastically ~ I thought you had read through my notes seeing as they are up on the screen, I didn't realise you just thought I was fat.

    A$$hole.

I don't want to go to antenatel tonight :(

Having a few bad anxiety days, don't want to sit in a room with strangers on my own.

Rescue Remedy is alcohol based :-/ Its been so long without alcohol, I'd probably get drunk off a single spray :rotfl:

I'm hoping its just mid-day lethargy and I'll be alright later. All I want to do is go to bed!
