Easy peasy even a frog can do it !

for 12 bun cases you'll nedd
    4oz sr flour
    4 oz caster sugar
    4 oz marg
    2 eggs

Beat the marg and sugar until fluffy, add 1 egg at a time with a tablespoon of flour then beat in rest of flour. Spoon into bun cases. Will take about 20 ~ 25 mins depending on your oven . Cool and decorate , have fun :T

    Its simplicity itself....

    weigh 2 eggs
weigh out the same amount in sugar, soft marge, and S/R Flour...

Cream tog the sugar and marge
Beat the eggs in one at a time...
Fold in the flour with a pinch of salt...

Divide among the cake cases and bake for around 10-12 mins...

Ice how you like... Delice and never fails.... depends on the size of the egg used how many cakes but the bigger the eggs the more cakes , hence I always use large ones...:rotfl: ENJOY

    I'm the same as tanith.

I weigh my eggs and use equal amounts of everything else. I'm with the 10-15mins in the oven at 160/170.

Its just so simple and once you've made your own you will never go back to a packet mix.

Yep plain flour and baking powder will be fine.

I'll just have a look to see if I've got the amounts.

4oz plain flour needs 1 level teaspoon of baking powder.

We want to see a picture of the cakes and a very sticky happy child licking the spoon. :rotfl:

Notice I used the word child licking the spoon, not you. :naughty:

Just though of some more advice:

Beat butter and sugar with a wooden spoon, beat in the eggs with a wooden spoon and stir in the flour with a metal spoon.
