Hi Everyone
I sent off my registration and agreement a week ago - can anyone remember how long it took for PT to send out your Business Pack?
I'm too excited!!!
Many Thanks0 -
They're usually pretty quick but I know that they're having problems with their mail due to the postal strike in London. It might be worth calling them to see if they've received your agreement. Once they've got it they'll ship everything out to you via courier so that won't be affected by the postal strike. Good luck - hope you get your stuff soon.0

I've bought lots of xmas stock, and am feeling a bit worried about how it will go. Is it too much or will I need more... It's my first xmas doing this.
I wouldn't worry yet, most people haven't even begun to think about Christmas. Have you got an upline or other traders near you that you can swap with? This is something I have done before - either borrow extra stock or loan out yours.0 -
Just wanted to check in with everyone here... I posted back in July about joining PT with my friend. Well we took the plunge and are just loving it. Our first month we cleared our 125PV and last month we made our 825PV! We have worked hard but with little children, we can work it around them flexibly. I've met loads of new people in my neighbourhood from doing brochure drops and we have a Butterfly Tea Party planned for 12th. We have made back our initial investment and look forward to making more!
I would say that the best advice I've got is from this forum... you do need to treat it as a business not a job. It takes time to build it and can be frustating to spend a lot of time doing something for no apparent gain. However, for us it has been great so far - and working as a team has been great too - although we have to split the profits, when one of us is feeling a bit fown, inevitable the other is feeling enthusiatic!
Well done you! Can I ask what you did to achieve 825PV? I also started in July and have only achieved 125PV each month - Any tips?
Many Thanks0 -

It is still quite early in the season, last year the Christmas cards didn't really start to sell until mid-November (well for me anyway). The rollwrap went a lot quicker though!Thank you to all OPs

I can relax - just had conformation that they've recieved my registration only took a week due to the postal strikes!!
Woohooo - will get it all delivered on Thursday! :j0 -
Thanks Wibblywobbly14 and Skeeter for your encouragement. Just having a doubtful moment, but you're right, there's ages to go yet. I've got 3 butterfly events lined upfor this week, then nothing. I suppose I can't see beyond that right now, but there's months to go.0

At last I have found somewhere to discuss Phoenix!:T
I have been Dabbling really with it since Jan 2007 and havent had the confidence or motivation to really get it going. I have always loved the idea of it but somewhere in my mind I expected people to just flock tome and "just know" that I sell Phoenix!
I am now in the position of having my youngest at nursery 3 days and my eldest at school already, I really want to make a go of it and make a proper business of it ..... unfortunately(or fortunately depending on your point of view) I now work 5 days a week for 4-5 hours and struggle to find time to get out there promoting it....
I just wondered if any of you have been able to really make it pay for you ie. £500 plus per month ?? I would like to drop my p/t job you see!
Do brochure drops really work? I already do fayres all over the shop when I can and have 4 xmas fayres/ladies lunch dates lined up for November but I would like to know how you get your baskets out to businessess etc??
I am quite shy and dont like badgering people to take them? hence my failure to make the business pay!
Any phoenix bods who have turned their business around?0 -
I've been a Trader for almost 3 years now & currently make an average of just over £200 per month. I've just qualified for month 1 as an Executive Trader so fingers crossed I'll manage to qualify again next month & then from the 1st November I'll get an extra 5% on all purchases made by myself & my entire team (a minimum of £75 per month assuming I qualify) so that should make quite a difference to my income. I'm going to continue building my team & selling at parties & stalls & hopefully my income from Phoenix will continue to grow as a result. Good luck with it all.0
