 0845 - peak - 18185 ??????? No use dialaround - https://www.dialaround.co.uk (2p/min)
 off peak - BT
 0870 - peak - 18185 OK
 off peak - BT OK
 Mobiles - peak Call1899 OK
off peak - 18185 18185 have just raised their w/end rates to 5p/min - so revert back to 1899 which is still 3p
calls to spain 18185 OK - but do check as 18185 have raised their mobile rates....although this doesn't show on their website
 2. If I sign up for just dial saver can they `complain` about me using overide numbers? I use tele2 as a CPS - just for free evening and w/end calls...they haven't complained yet!
 Thanks
Btw...although you mention peak and off peak - there are actually 3 categories..peak evenings and w/ends - all need setting on the dialler.
 Good luck!0

Hmmm so how do we keep on tabs of these price changes? (i.e. where did you find them? ) Since web site still states 2p a minute wouldn't we have a case if they tried to charge 5p?? (Ah just sussed - are you going off the announcement messages - hmmmm - damn) ) Since web site still states 2p a minute wouldn't we have a case if they tried to charge 5p?? Thanks for previus help, one more question.
I have just signed up for jjust dial saver . On the orchid routing table under the router bit where there is 1899 etc etc what do I put as an access number to JDS?
Or do I not put anything at all for local/nat calls eves and w end and they will be routed automaticaly?
Sorry another question, How do i route 0870 off peak to BT now JDS is my CPS?
CheersOn the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0

Within Cwclient on the "Routing" tables - whenever you want a call to go through your CPS (ie JD) - you should allocate a zero. So, for example, in the 1st line for 01/02 Nos ...day, night and w/end should read [x - whatever number is for 1899], 0 and 0 respectively.
re BT routing. In your "Carrier" drop down lists you need to insert a line (using the drop down lists) which reads "1280 -CPS Override". Lets assume that is on your line 5. Then go to your "routing" box to the 0870 line and allocate day, evening and w/end as [x -whatever you have for 18185], 5 and 5 respectively. Each time you allocate a "5" (in this example) - the dialler will dial straight to BT.
 Hope that's it......:) . 0 . 0

Frightened to ask this incase I already have and not read my posts properly -but anyway, here goes.
Busy looking at access codes in order to programme the V4 box. I have a BT landline but the CPS is with JustDial. When programming the dialler box, say, for instance, for 1899 - do I just programme in 1899 as it is a BT landline or do I have to use the 0808 numbers as non-BT landline??0

If you do not want to use a service with CPS (eg Just Dial seems to be discussed quite a bit above) then what is the best option for evening/weekends? As I have invested in an Orchid Dialler I didn't want to use CPS. The phone line is in the name of the landlord who is happy with BT and doesn't want to change this - could CPS be in a different name without BT wanting to know why?
 Many thanks

You can't just sign up with a CPS provider for your landlord's landline so, if he is, foolishly, 'happy with BT', your only option is to use a prefix for your calls. For UK calls (to 01/02 numbers) 1899 and 18866 charge the same at the moment (3p connection and 0p/minute).Anon wrote:If you do not want to use a service with CPS (eg Just Dial seems to be discussed quite a bit above) then what is the best option for evening/weekends? AnonTime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

And a potential silly question - it is mentioned above that for Peak, Dialaround should be used for 0845 numbers as they charge only 2p/min. As the Dialaround access number is 0844, is there a charge for the 0844 call plus 2p a minute or is it just 2p/min overall?
Also, how does it know what to charge when you don't need to set an account up and they seem to have rates from 1p/min to 5p/min for 0844?
 Many thanks
