Don't forget to add my problems with 18866 under 18866 now accept direct debits thread. Took 2 and half days to have my online account set up. All sorted now. Oh, and I have now ordered a V4 dialler off Orchid website.0 -
So, if payment is by credit or debit card, it is now possible to change this to Direct Debit?0

I couldn't find anything on their site about this.0

Click on Change payment details (to pay by Direct Debit)Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Thanks, I found that but when I filled in the details, it said to press the "Next" button after filling in the details, but there wasn't one shown. Help!0

Ordered my Orchid V4 dialler online last Monday (bank holiday). Still had not received this morning, so I rang them up. Apparently it is due to be dispatched today. Man on phone was very apologetic about delay. I also mentioned about the free set up (was not going to bother but seeing as I had already invested 2p on a phone call). No trouble at all to take it out of the postroom and set up initial settings free of charge.
Reasonably impressed so far - will hold back final judgement until dialler arrives and works as advertised.0 -
My Orchid dialler has been working as advertised (Orchid kindly set it up for me).
Today, I decided to change a couple of the settings using the CW client software, but am having trouble getting the dialler to dial home. The red light flashes on and off about 12 times and then stops. I have tried entering all the reset codes mentioned on page 18 of the advanced user guide, but to no avail.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, is the problem at Orchid, or is my dialler faulty?
I have e-mailed their support, but in the meantime thought I would see if any of you good people are clued up.0
