well i stayed at manchester ancoats

    and i have no complaints,

location - was a 5 min walk from the back of the arndale shopping centre

it is locatated on a busy main road, but after a few drinks i never heard a noise.

Bed was comfy with 1 pillow each, but there was 2 more in the wardrobe without a door...lol
flat screen tv, tea and coffe with a kettle, simple bathroom with 2 towels and 1 small bar of soap

But it was clean and fine.
Reception was quick at check in and pleasant.

You need your room card to use the lifts and to get in after 11.00pm atnight.

There is a 24 hour bar downstairs, but was quiet when we came in at 2.00pm but i suppose if you got a gang in there then it could be noisey.

On the morning when we was leaving a lady was asking was there a hairdryer she could use, and the girl behind the reception gave her one.

I would give this hotel 4/5

And for £9 well worth it

ps girls aloud were not bad to.

I liked the Stratford Alcester one, it's on a dual carriageway junction so I didn't have high hopes, but it's quiet, our room backed onto fields. It's possible to walk into Alcester from there which is a lovely town, and the drive to Stratford is very quick. Free parking as well.

I booked a family room with Travelodge in Dartford, Kent (not far from London) and thought it was brilliant. We only paid £9 (£2 per person) and needed to stay in the area for family reasons. The room was clean, very presentable (its a fairly new Travelodge) and the staff could not have been more helpful. It was built right next to a Burger King so the children were very pleased lol. I will be booking more rooms on Thursday, no doubt about it!
  • I stayed at the Worthing Travelodge for 3 nights last week, I booked it during one of thier previous room sales and paid only £9.00 per night, it has just been refurbished, it's one of those lovely old sea front buildings, naturally inside it's now a modern Travelodge! We had a fab sea front room which was very spacious and with the huge bay window you could see up and down the promenade! The bar/cafe is very roomy with plenty of space between the tables, the staff were very friendly & welcoming! I have stayed at several different Travelodges and I can definately state this was the best!
  • typical I need to stay in Ashford TL middle of Oct but the sale is for rooms from beginning of Nov

York Central Travelodge is great for location, within walking distance of most attractions and is fairly modern. Wetherspoons next door for cheap food etc, ask for a room away from the courtyard and you hear no noise.

    .

How do you ask for a room away from the courtyard if you are booking online.

Guys this is LIVE NOW. I went on about 2:45am and it is well over 3 hours early. SOOOOOOOOO easy to pick and choose the dates you want right now. Get there before 6am hits and it clogs up for the day. Just booked 10 dates in Milton Keynes to Snowboard so I'm very happy!

This place is lovely! I was built in Jan 2009 so it is brand new and very clean! It offers the perfect location too as it is onsite the Red Dragon centre which has bowling, Cinema, loads of gorgeous restaurants and the Doctor Who exhibition!
2 Minutes walk is the rift from torchwood and the millenium centre as well as the bay and mermaid quay. You have loads to do on your door step and it was the perfect 3 day break!

I have just booked 5 nights in January (for £45 :j) on the strength of this, lol! I wanted 6 nights but for some reason it went up to £19 PER night even though it showed all 6 as £9 on the chart!
