    Hi 1jim,

As far as I am aware this offer will be available to customers who only have a telephone service with TalkTalk provided you are in an LLU area. Pop your telephone number into www.samknows.com in the exchange search.

    Cheers

    thanks

    i have VM @ £18 for 2 meg... soon to be £20 for 10meg

we also have another VM phone line coming in to the house, two different bills... im thinking about this offer, to break it down:

    line rental @ 10.50 * 18 = 189
talk talk calls & broadband for 6 months (12 months free) 6.49*6= 38.94
    connection charge = £30

    258/18mths
= 14.33 Per month for broadband & a phone line

compared to £20 a month for just broadband?

how much is it to reconnect to BT, our last BT line was disconnected in 1998, since then ive been with cable&wireless/NTL/VM etc
Named after my cat, picture coming shortly

    Hi 1jim,

All responded to on TTMF for you.

Rockbotton and Numpty Monkey if you could register on the TalkTalk Members forums the broadband team will be able to take a look at your issues for you. We have access to speed test results and profiles etc through our own forum so we will be better equipt to help you there rather than here.

    Cheers

We've been with talktalk since 2005 without any problems. Got a call last week from a UK based call centre last week. End result being we changed our package to free broadband, £10.50 for line rental and £6.49 for all evening and weekend calls. But for the first 12 months we wouldn't be charged for the £6.49. Then today got a call from a call cantre based outside the UK. The lady had no record of my converstation last week and tried to sell me the above package without the discount. Because I couldn't find my order number she wouldn't do the same deal !!!!!!! She phoned me! Surely TT must have a record of my phone call last week - I was told it was recorded. In the end I just put the phone down on her.

I am in the same boat, have BT wiring coming into the house, but not connected to the white BT phone box in the house, unsure if the line is active or not. How much would it cost for the line to be installed by TalkTalk?
  • hi i was with virgin media for years then got rid.then tryed to go with a bt line provider. through a bt line only to find they removed the line it seems like a scam to extort money.from the only monopoly they have left the exchanges.
i see that talk talk are doing a cheaper line reconection is it possible to have this offer with this offer to i'm in the clydebank area

what is the talktalk li ne reconnection offer? I phoned them up and they told me to get the post office to reconnect it! There is a talktalk rep on here, thought she would have mentioned it, but not heard anything from her at all about this.
