I signed up for this offer last month and have to say everything went very smoothly, up and running in 15 days and the changeover was pretty much seamless.

Glad to hear it went well for you Chinny6. If anyone has had problems in the past then I am very sorry for that but massive improvements have been made. Neil40, if you need any more information feel free to give me a nudge.

EmmaL, i'm thinking about changing over from Orange broadband but i'm about 6-8 mths in to my phone contract with Talk Talk. Do i have to continue till the phone contract finishes before adding the broadband or can this be added without incuring charges........?

    Hi Bribrian,

You dont need to wait for your current contract to expire - you will enter into a new contract if you decide to take broadband services which will replace your current contract.

    Cheers

    Re the avoid posts.

Both my parents and my parents in law have been with talk talk since the start of the free broadband offers. Neither have ever had any problems, its a hell of a deal really with the free phonecalls and broadband - its been pretty much ideal for both of them.

The only very slight problem was that they were both phoned offering the next so many months with a discount but weren't told they were entering a new 18 month contract.

    Hi Peter999,

There is a cooling off period on all contract renewals. When did the call take place?

    Cheers

    Hi Emmal,

Its not a problem as they both are very happy to stay with Talk Talk over another 18 months, they just felt a bit misled that they weren't told that they were agreeing to another 18 month contract. They only know they have after speaking to me, but both would have agreed to the extra 18 months for the discount anyway.

    Pete
  • Hi EmmaL,
I am interested in the deal. Can I ask why the deal has to be done over the phone or via the shop? Why can't I order the deal online? Topcashback offers a GBP 30 cashback on broadband packages ordered online with Carphonewarehouse, and I wish to take advantage of that. Please advise. :D
