If we sold anything on e-bay I think it would cost us a small fortune in petrol getting to & from a PO to send anything ........ so not likely to be such a moneymaker for me :rotfl:
Would that make me your Rodney, alfie?
(Don't you dare say Grandad or Uncle Albert)
It'll be a while yet before we start planting.0 -
We tie in the posting with doing other stuff as I don't tend to use the local PO coz the woman is a Gorgon. I try & do it elsewhere & tie in about three different tasks.
Sorry about your poor sales Alfie - that's depressing but how it is sometimes.
Yes - Rummer/Tigger fleeces are lovely things even though I haven't done owt with mine.0 -

Yes, that would be one way.
I only get out every few weeks (don't ask) although DH gets out about once a week or so.
How do you know what postage to charge without going & having things weighed beforehand? I'm thinking that our circumstances might make it a long-winded exercise if we have to go twice for every item.0 -

I have recently bought one for £6 per Kg and postage, it was skirted but not washed. Not a huge amount of money but better than nothing. I got mine through a person on Ravelry but I have seen them selling well on e-bay.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

I NEED MONEY, wongas, spondoolies, cash, euros, ( um maybe not at mo) bucks, any legal tender:j and i am sooooooooooooo close, but yet sooooooooooooooo far:silenced:, I've begged, borrowed, but not yet stole.....lol....but on saying that, as i said some of the prices i have seen this morning on ebay, if i got similar sort of prices it would be like stealing:rotfl:

CTC... i was absolutely floundering when i started on the bay. i only do it now and then. i found it was laborious waiting for pics to download BUT i have sussed that while one pic is "doing" i do the deatails, when second pic is doing ,i do"write up" then on third pic i do postage etc and then press button...:D what took me hours now takes me minutes... it was actually watching rhiwfields way of selling that gave me the ooompf to try again !:) i find i take all the pics on my camera in sequence then its easier to transfer. it really can be worth it for you as you have a larger source than me and what doesnt sell at least you have the "shop" to fall back on. GO ON ,GIVE IT A GO.....
ITSMEHONEST..... [rods :rotfl:]

Rummer _ I usually take my fleeces into the Wool Board & the past two years the prices have slightly crept up. I have advertised them & sold a couple that way, but it's not worth the hassle, but sould try ebay after they're sheared this year - should set up a seperate business account I suppose.
Well what a windy, hail storm night - snow here & the wind is biting. The ebay sales seem rather slow for me.0
