No idea, I'm afraid. The last screen I had break was ages ago.
I once stopped a showbiz celebrity reversing his Roller over a very badly placed bollard. The following week, DW drove right over it, going forwards!:rotfl:0 -
itsmehonest.......you are getting a lot of ''please stay'' and apologetic posts upstairs....I think you were wrong in your assumption you were unwanted/unwelcome0

????????? please tell?:(
dave and I have ''another'' thread like this, not about small holding/growing/dreaming but that started in the dbate forum where some sane (or nearly so) people have posted among a bunch of antagonistic loonies for a few years now. We call it the Nice person thread to distinguish it fronm the bickering that goes on in the rest of the board, and people who are normally antagonisitc are requested to leave weapons at the door of entering.
Its me honest has been posting (hurrah) there recently, but felt unwelcome, which I think is not so, and the v. lovely poster who put her foot in it has apologised. I know that poster personally, I was at her house to day, so feel abcolutely confident in posting that she would never mean to be unwelcoming.0 -
LIR...... oh poop re yr screen disaster.... is there any landy reclamation people near you ? they usually have everything.
re itsmehonest..... i think the blend has worked very well here and between you and davesnave keeping me in checkor trying to :rotfl:.... i thoroughly enjoy the humour and honesty....especially the humour..:D

Actually, it wasn't that I was made to feel unwelcome. I was suspected of being a sock puppet - something I've never & would never be as I have no need to hide behind multiple identities &, if I had to use another nickname, would tell people it was me.
I'm grateful for your concern, LIR & for letting me know about the apologies. We'll leave it there
@alfie - Yep. The blend works here0 -

but others don't, you see...so what you might do isn't known! e.g Some leave after feeling ''exposed'' over things like bereavemnt (in one case of a child) and then we worry about them....but they come back with new names and we guess for a few months, so sock puppets are often people we have cared and worried about....so we now often ask if someone is new or returning,,because sometimes people who we have worried about say its them, but want a fresh start..nothing offensive is meant by that in the NP thread, nor personal.0 -
Maybe it's just my character but, if I left & came back - whatever the reason, I can think of no circumstances when I'd come back as someone else & not say so.
Anyway, this is a different thread, different people & I'd rather not involve them in problems elsewhere. It's kind of you to worry but, honestly, consider the matter closed. I won't be losing sleep over it0
