Swearbot got me. It wasnt that strong - honest!
  • oh, isn't that stunningly beautiful?

In the older buildings around here they are often little arched niches & can be quite high up on the walls. Maybe that's to give things at ground level more chance ;)

I'd love to see it, alfie.

I think a lot of people mistake boles for remnants of cloam ovens.
We've got 2 old bread ovens inside the house but no boles - at least none we've ever found.

soe friends of mine did something similar, a ''ruin'' with a window. It made me irationally angry as was in the middle of a formal garden, not in a realistic corner, an the window of the ''ruin'' wall was GLAZED..not tell me how a cottage could fall done leaving a well preserved varnished window frame and no broken glass......grrrrr ...they are lovely people but I found my self so cross at this little edifice I started avoiding 'drinkipoos' in the garden. :o:o:o
  • I might have been tempted to creep round one night & pin a net curtain to it :rotfl:

Well it rained so hard today it has the burn roaring like a lion - never seen it in such spate. All the ice is off the track - thought I was gonna break a limb going up to the sheep.
It feels cold but it is milder.
Gonna try & go over east tomorrow & get the big shop & some more hay just in case............

Had stovies tonight Mmmmmmmmmm got the carrots & onions out of the water logged weed infested veg plot & they were reet tasty!
