Help! Someone's messed up me screen while I've been fast asleep......!!!
DW went out ladies' skittling tonight, so I did the obvious thing and cooked -up a load of sprats. Ate so much, I fell fast asleep and almost let the fire out.:o
I'm not an eBayer, but one of my daughters is. She sold some of her old toys on there last month and made over £300.
The hens look like they will be OK. The vet thinks it's just a cold, but in any event, the two that were so poorly and had the squits on Tuesday are back to eating & drinking normally. Ozzie isn't crowing or chasing the ladies, but he's still foraging around, as is a further Dorking which is rattling. We are not isolating any more. Dorkings are known for respiratory problems, apparently.
After our earlier experiences with mycoplasma, all this comes as a big relief!:):)0 -
Rhiwie.... dont forget to put any linen with the embroided crinoline lady on, on ebay, they can bring big money...
Once we get one top of things, we really do need to start doing ebay on a large scale....Rhiwie fancy a few days a weeks listing items for me????
We are considering employing someone purely to do the listings.
Why has christmas sneaked up on me AGAIN!!!!! every year i say i am going to be organised, with buying presents, and doing christmas crafting for the antique stalls etc... and all of a sudden it feels like i have lost 2 months and christmas is nearly here....has someone fast forwarded my life?
I also want to know..... who clonked cain dingle over the head.....lol...Work to live= not live to work0 -
Looks like after I went to bed a few of you were on the magic mushrooms (especially Choille
)
Davesnave, glad the chooks are improving! Ours are seriously unimpressed with the weather atm.
Kazchow, let us know your OK with power back on, that goes for anyone in a caravan last night
Alfie, thats a serious amount of stuffWe havent got room to hoard if we want to keep buying at auctions. We're already talking about converting one room for stock. Pears Ehhh? See photobucket later.
Choille, I'll look out for that listing, DW loves matte green art deco pottery but Rummer, If anything else comes along I'll let you know.
CTC, though I'd love to say yes to you, that sounds suspiciously like a job  I'm happy having the fun of buying and selling without any real pressure.
Ah well, some things to pack and post, then its more photos and listings0 -
Yeah, thats when the penny dropped! What'll it sell for, who knows? It has a £49 price tag on back, and I think the Panther/Swallow element will add to attraction, but I'd be happy with a tenner. That'd give me a small profit and I just like the buying and selling
Alf, wish you luck, toothache sorted tomorrow?
If you're ok with that? Don't want to put you in a corner.lostinrates wrote: »I don't sell, but thinking we should. We hve some stuff to get rid of. (trying to get dh to sell his teenage computer game thing atm..Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
I love the demi tasse cups Rhiwfield has on ebay atm but I've had to stop buying vintage crockery as I've run out of room for it.
Those wooden printing letters are lovely too. I think we need a bigger house!
I must not look at them, I really must not look at beautiful woden printing letters0 -

Ahh, I'm really sorry Lotus Eater but I agreed to sell it to someone else last night. Sorry again.0
