    Hope they fix it soon.

About four years ago we have major hurricane - massive damage & lines down all over - lost my poly-tunnel.
The elec company had to re new scores of lines & poles - we were off for a week, but since then had few cuts - before that always losing power. There were trees snapped half way up their trunks - incredible to see. Inverewe garden lost many gigantic specimens - such devastation. But all the trees near lines were really trimed removed etc & it's been a boon in many ways. The council just need to get the estates to sort out their trees that are hanging over the roads here - gonna be a life lost with that one windy night.

Bitter here & most snow gone but the sky is that eerie grey, heavy way. Been up to the sheep & the post but apart from going down the wood to pick up branches - not much doing in Choille Ville.

Metlox did a team of 8 and brewers dray for Budweiser, but this team seems more heavily blinkered. There might be a makers mark on the undersides to give a clue.

Alfie did you see Landward, Is it available in Englandshire? It was Shetland pony gig/cart racing & also the Grand National Shetland pony race equivalent at Olympia - hilarious & really fast - amazing stuff.

    evening all :)

the horse and cart thing is made of....?? heavy iron type material. i know its OLD. cart looks like its a wagon for coal??or perhaps wood as suggested, its about 20" long and 4/5" high.original paintwork.. got it for a quid at car boot sale years ago....

the cigarette box is a ROLINX product...you load the box with cigs [modern ones dont fit, maybe the old players?] and when you slide the top back, the cigs fall into the slots.:D

iv just bought myself a crimble pressie...courtesy of rhiwfield dangling the preverbial carrot  ;)
talking of carrots...i know the talk is not re veg etc but at this time of year its a bit flat on the gardening front so i think its good we all get to know each others life styles in general...cos in turn we can still help each other out be it by verbal encouragement or getting each other in touch with bargains...just my thoughts :D

got the dentist on tuesday now...its either not as bad now OR iv just acclimatised to the pain..:)

ive been watching the weather reports and im cringing for our northern commrades.... hope you are all safe.
