I love choille eating the thans buttons. I got to bed yesterday before realising I'd forgotten to eat anything bar a handful of the last raspberries in the garden, and th day before did the same. result is very bad eating at 11 pm.....a builder's doughnut the first night a bacon sarnie last night. Not very lir friendly food. I haven't done any wasing up except ugs this week so planned to put immersion on and clear the decks this morning...then realised there ARE only mugs and the builders' side plates from doughnuts and my bacon sarnie plate. What the dicken's was I doing this week? I ight have to join choille on the thanks buttons! I do remember frying an egg and boiling one another day.. I've spent inrdinate amounts of time wanting a cod and lentil salad which I'll make tonight when dh comes home....0

Lir, I'd listen to Lotus-Eater, I sold some Nintendo games a few weeks back, some werent worth much but others were £20+
The wood printing blocks montage is really nice, but for me the star of the auction lot was an old oak Hymn Board. I've been looking on Salvo web and they seem to fetch £125 upwards. It'll be nervewracking listing that!0 -

is it a game boy (computer games didn't feature in my youth)? Its pristine and in a box but didn't every kid br the ones I knew have them? I think he's hidden it upstairs, I'll have a look later.0 -
My goodness, it's been busy on here. Need to make a celery soup, so I can't spend too much time catching up.
Then it'll be a day of handing back the keys on our former rental property and gathering together funds to make sure that we can pay for the bungalow. I'm hoping, hoping hoping that we can complete at the end of next week, a week early
I really feel for those of you living in caravans in this weather. I've been to the nobbly fruit and veg man's stall this morning in Newcastle Emlyn and it was taters!0 -

Newcastle Emlyn is very reminiscent of the little town near here where I grew up, and where I shall probably go later today.
TBH, I would find it easier going into NE regularly than to my little town here. When I'm there, I don't do much 'thinking,' as it's surprisingly upsetting, confronting the fact that while I went away, life went on perfectly well without me.
They say, "Never go back," and they're right.....but it's convenient for some stuff.0
