This is why I should know to stay away.
I think rhiwfield does really well selling though.:) some of his finds are really good.
fwiw, I've been on tap serching surfing today for the down stairs loo. There are three options: a non quirky wterfall mixer tap (the only modern thing in an austere but old room) a builder made stone waterfall tap...and idea I haven't discussed with them yet.....or I found a crazy one on the internet: a golden shell tap. :rotfl:0 -

I plead guilty on all charges
Thing is, when you're living frugally you have to make the most of surplus possessions. And its only a short step to selling things that you buy. It's a sideline, but enjoyable with it, and I'm happy buying as well, often saving a fortune compared to modern options.
Alfie, wood block montage now listed. The Panther/Swallow print border is mainly an effect of the close focus camera. And there's no way I'm listing hundreds of items of linen in the next week or two :eek:. But if you would like some piccies of stuff that we got on Wed, just pm things that you might like to see and I'll put them in my alltoomuch photobucket folder!!0 -
The lights keep flicking it's a wonder we still have elctrickery on - Thought the side window was coming in - what gusts - stuff is working its way to the edge of shelves - so piled stuff (ornaments & such) on the floor. The cats are disgusted at this new arrangement & are tip toeing between stuff.
Hope its free listing this weekend as I've got sooooooooo much stuff it's half way up the windows...........There isn't a free surface = apart from high up shelf that had ornamnts on. It's gone milder but supposed to be blizzards later - oh, what high jinks.
I hate the wind. It's a bully.
Isn't it a nightmare arranging all the postage when you live out in the sticks? A friend is always off to the PO to send things that she's sold but she can walk around the corner to the PO. It's not that easy when you live miles away from it.0 -

yep....we're not ready to be doing too much, but the loo is next, and will be the first ''finished'' room. (the kitchen will not be finished next year, we're moving the old stuff into the new room in the first instance....if it holds together:o)0 -

We actually looked at doing car boot sales when we first realised just how much stuff we'd accumulated that needed to go. Unfortunately, after a good recce, we knew that we didn't fulfil the clothes/baby clothes bracket that are the popular stall items around here.
Thanks buttons are still disappearing after every post :eek:0 -

Having a lot of trouble with the relately new owner of local PO, but usually post off 70 miles off when we go over to the East coast now, but that'll be somewhat curtailed with the Winter if the last two are owt to go by.0 -
