Your suite looks just right for your room, alfie.
All my ginger lillies are still outside, lir. The weather wasn't good enough to make any of them flower this year, but now it's not bad enough to knock down the foliage.
Some plants look really confused. I was pruning a hazel today, and some of the buds looked as if they were about to burst open.
Today, one of the Australorps, which we thought far too heavy now for serious flight, took off from the ground and sailed clear over the 6' fence we've made between the two halves of the chicken orchard. Those birds constantly surprise me. The new Rhodies also have a couple of 'characters' too. One of them never stops 'talking' and they're all pretty laid-back and friendly.0 -
my clematis by the gate [the one that WAS growing over the arch but got chopped/chewed at base so was cut back] has just flowered !!:o
and as davesnave said some "buds" on other shrubs etc look like they want to open ! my magnolia and lilac trees are trying to but are just about holding back !:o
i think iv SO overdosed on that gel to numb my tooth/teeth that its not working now ! i thought the antibiotics may have kicked in by now....
ive just had an hours catch up with my cousin in canada. she is an amazing artist. if you are interested , google . anna marie ferguson . and she usually pops up 1st.

tomorow i may go to a last carboot sale [to look not sell,] IF its on, then i need to clear/sort my back room as i cant actually get in there at the mo :eek:0 -

Snow through the night & no leccy this morning but it's back on now - thankfully, as I have stuff listed on Ebay & need to keep an eye out.
Alfie if you keep rinsing your mouth with warm salty water it helps draw the abcess & improves circulation. I meant the round stool - love them.
I notice that my blackcurrants are budding - I dodn't prune them this fall. My yellow rose is doing really well - got that in the Pound Store!
I bought Gladioli bulbs & they are all potted up - were in the Spring, but it's been a no show for them. My veg garden is a disaster - really abandoned it this Summer, but I should take some Calibrise as that looks okay - or give it to the sheep.
Anyone else boil up their peelings for their hens - mine love them at this time? I waste very little.
I have some stunning huge mushrooms bursting out of my compost heap - wish I knew what they were - wish I knew all the mushrooms as we have so many on the croft & it's been some year for thme but don't know my Deadly wotsit from my Hallucenagenic hairy toadstool[sp?]0
