I've been AWOL for a while as I'm having a few 'issues' with DH. I've managed to find a studio space for the photography so need to get two more corsets made, do the photo shoot and the website will be live. There is a 'holding page' at www.stitchingwitch.co.uk but I hate to admit the delay is all my fault.

If I didn't still have to work fulltime in a cr*ppy job which has me in tears every day I could make about five a week. The simplest ones take about 6 hours and I suppose the more complcated ones can take upwards of twelve to fifteen hours.
The good news is that DH started work two weeks ago after being off sick for three years. If we can keep our marriage going it will mean the debts will get paid off quickly and I can leave this job.
One day I'll jump on my broomstick and whizz off to a little workshop where I can sit and sew all day....Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
Out scavenging / foraging today we came across this fruit; two varieties one yellow and one deep red. The red ones really look like small plums, although OH says the are more tart than plums. The trees are really massive and very woody, and the fruit is clustered on the end of the branches the way apples are.
