I really want to start planting seeds! Starting to get really impatient now! Last year I missed the boat and was really late, paranoid that will happen to me again this year.

I know someone here who will start planting in about a couple of weeks - indoors, in a porch right enough.

I was late last year but it was a rubbish season I suppose.

so yep i am sure i can get some stuff to burn ( to my neighbours delight:D)

LIR sorry to hear about your water works.... maybe all this ground frost and snow has dis-lodged the clay pipes...

Alfie - I was like that & still am but I don't have the room - everything ends up in a box in the shed. One reason why I have to do the ebay thing.

I will be planting things indoors and then they will go to the greenhouse and finally the garden.

To be honest I am feeling very overwhelmed and panicked about the garden this year. I bought lots of seeds and I don't know what to plant and how many and where and every time I sit down to plan it out I get a sense of rising panic and get no further forward :eek:

LIR, sorry to hear of your drainage problems. Sorry I have nothing to add about that.

I'd love to have a bonfire but unfortunately I'm in a smoke free zone. I'll maybe try to find some pics of bonfires to post here on Choille's Night.

Anyway, I think CTC mentioned earlier about a new programme coming on the tv tonight about star gazing.

It's on in about 20 mins on BBC2. 8.00pm BBC2 called Satrgazing Live.

I'm going to watch it, looking forward to it.

Ooh can I be cheeky and ask if I could have a copy too?

This is going to be my first year planting in my garden and I am completely clueless!

My cabbages, lettuce and spring onions have all died in the garage. I wasn't able to get out there and care for them with my health issues these last few months (bronchitis, chemical burn and hypothermia to name just a few!).
