Right, cleaned up dear son's room a bit - and by dear son I mean disgusting, stinky, hideous little scrote!
There are sewer rats and weasels that wouldn't enter his bedroom without demanding SARS approved breathing apparatus and radiation protection suits.

I've opened his window for a bit of fresh air, hot washed his bedding and cleared out the plates, cups, bowls, crisp packets, sweet wrappers, chewing gum, toenail clippings, unidentified bacteria and fungi, broken parts of hot wheels, half sucked jaw breakers.

Oh my god he's only 11, what the hell is it going to be like when he's a true teenager?

He does his own toenails!!! i'm impressed!

Hey everyone. Sorry I've not been around. It all kicked off here the night before the Manc meet which is why I couldn't make it, was gutted and still had to pay for the hotel. :( Was really sorry to miss everyone but everythings on the up again hopefully now so touch wood on the right track again.
How's everyone been? Luc how's the baby? Any news I've missed?

Hello my lovely DFW friends...I LOVE YOU you know..

Carrpy morning at work and whats worse is I missed a message on the answerphone from Bea's pre-school to say she wasn't well and could i pick her up early. How Rubbish am I when I rocked up at normal time. She is feeling cold and now complaining of earache so off to Drs tonight which means I shall have to miss run club but will try and get out by myself, maybe I might do some intervals and then do a nice run tomorrow night.

Maz, please tell me Erin doesn't call you that :)
Loads to do this afternoon but will be here in between

Hmph, I wish he didn't keep them in a pile though!!!!
I swear that when I opened his blind the lego characters squinted and screamed at the daylight.

I was amazed to find the spider plant that he potted with his grandma still alive on his windowsill.

His nice clean fresh (bedbug free) bedding is now back on the bed.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Noooooooo :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Please dont do hills that way - very very very bad for the knee and ankle joints...

Downhill running causes extreme eccentric loading, in fact Sebastian Coe used to do uphill training and then a get lift back down :p, for us mortals though the only proper way to run downhill is to shorten the stride, keep your knees slightly bent and be over on your centre of gravity (i.e. dont lean back)...

If you want any more info on downhill running a think there's a section on hills in 'The Lore of Running' which is usually in most libraries

Sorry trying to help protect your joints here :D
