Does anyone know if a freckle that goes darker and increases in size is always a sign of cancer? Ive noticed one on my chest that appeared when I was 19 after getting badly sunburnt. Its getting darker and bigger but isnt raised and hasnt got a line round it. It dosnt look like the images of cancerous moles on google. Is it possible that its just benign?

I have made myself an appointment with the doctor for Wednesday but wondered if anyone on here could reassure me a bit. Its not 'always' cancer is it?
Hi JFC-I've had several of these..my local health autority (mid Sussex) subscribes to the "whip 'em off just to be sure" school of thought...so I've never actually known if they're dangerous, as they've just been removed asap. Having said all that, I go back to the hosp on wed next week to get results of biopsy on 2 freckle/mole things on my chest...will let u know how I get on....in the meantime-get it looked at !!!!!!

Ok, done a bit of comparison and the deal I've gone with IS better, I'm just greedy and wanted cashback as well.
Ah well, can't have everything I suppose!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.

Afternoon all, well what a busy day ive had, finished work a 1030 this morning after an arduous day yesterday:rolleyes: I returned to my cabin to what can be described as what must the busiest of most busiest days. I've got to put some washing on then get my head down :D

Luc - Great news with the sleep my love, keep stocking up though just in case

Buffy - I thought you was gonna buy a hamster, not wake up looking like one  Seriously though, I hope its ok, its not nice when your face swells up like that. Mind you, a few years ago a lad came to see me aboutt travelling home after he had his wisdom teeth/tooth out (gotta get it right otherwise Linda will pick me up :D ), so I looked up to ,see what could only be described a human hamster, both his cheeks were swollen up, whereupon I Laughed out Loudly, told him he looked like Buzz Lightyear, gave his travel details then got a bollocking off the boss, which was nice :D

Webby - Great news on the CCs love, well done:j:j

Linda - You've got your name wrong :D

Oh and did everyone see Jinky's post on the chat thread last night? BEEATCH :D
