Morning all.

My body has betrayed me by waking up without the aid of a baby crying or a cat begging for breakfast:mad: :rotfl:

So far have fed cat, made cuppa, emptied washing and hung to dry, put in another load and posted here...

Nathan could wake anytime now (we're in bonus time as he's now passed the 4 hour mark...)

No real plans for today - feet up amd snooze mostly I think...

Hugs to all that need them

    Good morning:hello:

After the bruised back (wedding at Hull, I slipped and fell) then the D&V thing last week I'm almost relieved only to have swollen feet and fingers with the mildest of headaches. I'm seeing the midwife tomorrow (though I guess if I see my boss I'll mention it to him today but I'm not piddling in a bottle for him:o )

DHL didn't deliver the blooming cot on Friday so Wayne and I had to drive to the DHL centre near birstall. I only needed the ends as the earlier one they'd delivered the ends were damaged so I've sent back the base and sides and I'm waiting for them to collect the damaged ends.

Luc - great news about Nathan. Congratulations.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Apart from a couple of nights where I seemed to be feeding more than sleeping he's been a star - settles for 4 hours at a time, on average and so far this morning we are closing in on a 5 hour sleep!:D Unfortunately my body has decided its awake so I can't take full advantage and get some extra zzzzzz's:confused:

    Pour les gateaux
    Rasp & choc - check
banana, choc & walnut - check

and for number 3 a suggestion with no choc ( )
grandmarnier soused clementines & cream... (well okay - choccie sprinkles on top...)

Webitha - hope the pain is gone!!!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Morning all I woke up looking like a hamster, and can't really open my mouth so called in sick. Its not that bad and I feel quite quilty but after talking on the phone yesterday to a mate my face swelled up and was painful so I am figuring teaching(ie talking) all day is not the way forward.

I still feel odd after all the pills too. sighs. guess I should have breakfast.
