Good morning all.
It's quite mild here today but very windy.
It was blowing a gale all day yesterday too and I got whacked in the face when the car door blew back at me,so I've got a lovely bruise and a sore head today.Top that with the bird table blowing over on top of me too and giving me a hefty thump and I realy am starting to think someone has it in for me.
Got so much to do today'All the cleaning, loads of washing and ironing.Still it'll dry(or blow away)then the ironing.
Then I'm going to make a pie for tea tonight and some raspberry and white chocolate muffins for my grand-daughter.
RedRuby, have a lovely birthday.
I hope you all have a good day and get everything done that needs doing.
Take care............0 -

I hope that i find you all well and that you all had a good weekend:j :j
The twins are growing and eating well:T
And my veg plot is coming on great:T I planted some puds at the weekend to get some early and iv started some salad leaves off in the shed in a pot. Iv also planted some garlic. I was hoping to get this in the ground in early jan but with the way the wether has been i just never got round to it. So we wont be getting garlic untill late in the year. This week i shall be getting my bored beens poted up in the shed to start them off.
And thats about it really.
If any off you dont grow veg the i really recomend it!!!!!!!!!!! even if you just grow some salad leaves in a window box you will save money!!! and get that good feeeling that you are eating somthing that you have grown yourself
So Get Growing everyone
I still dont feel that well!!! its been 3 weeks now that iv been feeling unwell
And im still jobless:mad: its very hared out there it just seeems that evryone is laying staff off.
I hope things start picking up soon.

:T PurpleIvy Well done!
My son James has been offered a place at Carlisle Univaersity!:T
Really proud of him. Only trouble is he's got to take an English testnow, as he didn't have a "C" grade at GCSE. Trouble is, he was only put in for the Foundation Stage GCSE at school, and the highest they can get is a "D", which is what he got. He has to get 50% or more in this test, so he's started swotting up on old GCSE papers.
He has to go up and take it on the 28th May. Fingers crossed!:o
Roast beef yesterday, so I think rissoles today. We both like those.
Have a good day all!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Morning all!
Week off from work for DH and me!:j he's just off to take his van for the MOT - fingers crossed! later we're off shopping to Kidderminster, need groceries and we're dropping DS2 off for his half day at college.
I've washed all his bedding from yesterday and the house smells a lot better now!
Had a shock this morning as when I emptied my mop bucket full of rainwater down the drain a huge frog came out too:eek:   so glad I didn't empty it down the sink!_pale_ I have a phobia about frogs, just cant abide them. Its still sat outside so I wont be going out there till DH shifts it.
Not sure what's for tea yet till we've been shopping.
Washing blowing nicely on the line.
update on the frog - DHs checked and its dead. He'll shift it later when he gets back from the MOT. Just thinking about it makes me feel sick.
(((hugs))) to all in need.
Congratulations to Weezl and family x
Have a great day all x
edited to say congratulations to Hilstep's DS - well doneDo what you love :happyhear0 -
((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))) to everyone who wants/needs one.
Redruby - My DD used to get like this every so often so we took her to the docs too. It turned out to be teenage hormonal tiredness. We had her blood tested for anaemia & it was slightly low so the doc suggested the pill & she took iron tabs for a couple of months. They tend to have such busy lives with school/college, friends, going out to mooch round town etc that it's not surprising they get tired sometimes. I hope that you get your DD sorted out & that she can have some sleep & rest today.
Reverbe How are you doing hun? Not 'seen' you for a couple of days (((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))) to you.
Well I'm not even dressed yet  which is most unusual for me but I just couldn't get going this morning. Probably because I've got the joy of cleaning the house top to bottom, ironing & washing to look forward to :rotfl: Lunch will be a sandwich & dinner this evening is a hotch potch affair. There is a full roast chicken dinner in the fridge for DS1 as he had pizza at a friends last night & didn't want it. The rest of us are having either omlettes, pancakes or something on toast as 3 of the 4 children have a sports thing on & DH is working nights so eats at random times
I had a lovely weekend doing not very much at all. Think I needed to recharge my batteries. Made some inroads into my cross stitch, a Subaru car, for DS2 that I started 6 months ago
Wm is on with its 2nd load but as it's howling a gale & lashing down with rain it'll def be going on the clothes airers.
Have a good day all.

Morning All
Been missing for a bit as we have a scary amount of appointments ATM...
Up to Bolsover Street tomorrow with DS2,then have DS3's annual review on Wed before my parents group!!
If they decide to do anything to poor DS's feet as well as his back I'm sticking my fingers in my ears and singing la,la,la...:o
No O/Styling going on here apart from a bit of gardening when I'm actually in,the house is a pit and we've lived off the freezer meals I cooked for the last week or so...not good but necessary for now.
Purple very well done from me you clever girl:T
Congrats to Weezl on your 'special delivery' :j
Hope everyone has a great day off to stick some lettuces in before a meeting with O/T and peeps about the shower!

Well Morning all,
hope everyone had a fab weekend. I had a brilliant time in Aberdeen with OH. We drove back to Edinburgh yesterday and got caught in a blizzard:eek: It was very strange as the sun was shining but it was snowing at the same time!
Got some fab news too, after having my interview last week for the PGDE I got email on Fri to say my status had been updated on the application website. Didn't have my login details so had to wait until yesterday to check it. I found out that I have got into the course which starts this Aug!! :j :T SO EXCITED!!! I never thought I would hear this quick as they said 4 weeks at the interview! So it's scary going to be a student again but i think with the site I will be totally fine!
Also we have a meeting to finalise our Mortgage today:eek: Think it will be fine though. We now no house is 100% ours no matter what plus it's been taken off internet now too:j
Lovely OH is cleaning flat and doing the laundry today plus he is going to start sorting through stuff for charity shops or refuse. The more we can sell/get rid of the less we have to move:rolleyes:
Happy Birthday Redruby!
Well done PurpleIvy
Halight keep your head up, something will come along soon
Congrats to Weezl
Hugs to everyone else today cos Mondays are rubbish.Spreading the gospel that is Martin Lewis to the future generation....I'm a Home Economics Teacher and being thrifty is the way!:A0
