I too wish I knew more about which brands, names, designers were in. I do the charity shop thing and pick up some bits but I feel I must be missing out on something as I rearly make more than a £1 or £2.
I did get a fat face linin dress last year it was end of season and I could'nt shift it. Put it on earlier this year and sold for £13 double what I paid for it.
So if any one has any helpful hints on whats selling clothes wise then please let me know.
I forgot to say that it helps to sell things at certain times of year which is why the linen skirt probably sold as it was coming into spring/summer??
I think prom dresses and party dresses go well near christmas and towards the end of school term too....SPC5 #1651 total so far: £78.590 -
Just got back from my first car boot since moving into the new flat and a new area. I had high hopes as it's quite posh round here, but I was a little disappointed! I did pick up a pretty red heart-shaped plate for my small jewellery bits, and on the way out I spotted a brand new microwave. I managed to lug the microwave half way to the car when my arms started shaking, nearly caused myself serious injury getting back! Had to get a kindly man to lift it into my boot as it was just so heavy and my arms were jelly. Only just recovered!!0
