    Hi
Another question to all charity shop buyers- e-bay sellers.

How many times do you relist items that dont sell ? Obviously everytime the item owes you more money.
    and
What do you do with items you dont sell ?

Thank-you your answers are invaluable. :D
  • If you list at 99p or less it's free to list so if it doesn't sell I keep relisting until it does sell HTH

So asked OH what he wants to do on Sunday, his only day off of the week - he wants to go booting

Now hoping the weather is gonna be good, as we might, only might head to denham however if rains forecast Ill give it a miss.

Any other london suggestions for us??

Lynz - if you're talking about Denham, Uxbridge - that's on a Saturday - and when I went a couple of weeks ago seemed to be about 50% traders. If you have a car, excellent Sunday ones are Nevendon (6am start) followed by Rettendon (Lazybones) in Essex - they're only about 5 miles apart. They are both huge and so you still get a very decent number of actual booters (probably at least 200 each site)

I usually only list items once, if they don't sell for 99p then I reckon no-one's interested. I take any unsold clothes to the charity shop but don't have many because I always start at 99p so pretty much everything does sell. Very occasionally I'll relist something if I think it should sell. lol @ sauce gun not seen one of those before i just had to look one up on ebay.

If i have something that refuses to sell i put it on at 1p and free postage i did this after not being able sell something for 99p and quid postage and it went on to sell for a fiver. If anyone searches for cheapest including postage and packaging yours will be quite high. People love a bargain.

If i am after something on ebay i quite often use lowest including postage you can find some good bargains this way. I got a nintendo ds 2nd hand this week on such a search (careful on ds though as a lot of lowest prices ones are faulty).

Just a question about clothes selling on ebay...I have some valuable clothes to sell, in the past, I wouldn't have thought twice but I stopped with all the US visibility issues. Has this improved now?

My best boot buy was a gold ring by my favourite designer, John Galliano. They sold it to me for a tenner as gold plated. Turns out it's 18k gold. It's a heavy signet ring with his coat of arms.
  • Not on a par with some of the bargains posted on here, but got me a Firetrap hoody for £5. Wouldn't normally have bothered for that price but it was cold and I didn't have a jacket with me, plus it's red and I love it!
