I would leave it exactly how it is - most auction buyers like things as they come so they can do as they will with it
Let us know if you get a good price for it. Has it been valued by the auction house already?
Hi yes its been valued at £80-120 and they say thats a very cautious estimate as one has never come up for sale in this country before so they dont really know what it will do and expect it may well do better. Its aparantly a very popular artist in USA and Canada. They have customers in those countries who get an auction catalogue e-mailed to them so hopefully it will get fetch something decent towards my wedding costs.I paid £9.99 for it.:D"Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
Excellent find. Is there anything by the artist on Ebay? Just wondering if it might be worth trying there so you can reach more American and Canadian buyers
I got two really nice pairs of shoes for £1 a pair in my local charity shop yesterday - one of which is new and I nearly bought them recently on the high street but they did not have my size in. BargainNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

Seriously, I thought wimbledon was crap theres no way Id go back even if I had nothing better to do! there was a LOT of houseclearance. ( boxes of knackered pans and gear of that ilk. I dont think OH & managed to spend a tenner between us.
Battersea on Sunday afternoon was quite good.
The one at nags head holloway is pants as well dont waste the opportunity,
While we are on the subject of London boot sales, does anyone know if its possible to get to the massive Denham CBS on public transport. I know its liikely to be a mission but one Id be willing to acceptWe sold at this one and it was phenomenal, everything you want a CBS to be, loads of normal people selling off bargains and hardly any junk traders at all.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Think you can get the Chiltern train from London Marylebone to Denham and then it's just about walkable from there. I tried to sell at this one a couple of weeks ago but it filled up way before 8am, so I would recommend getting there really early!
See you there!Overpay!0 -
I bought a gorgeous evening gown this morning for £5.Its by a canadian designer I have not heard of before,Joseph Ribkoff.Might wear it this winter,I just loved it and had to buy it. May put it on the tailors dummy in my bedroom for a few days just to look at it before I put it away."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0
