Hello everyone, haven't been on in a little while and just wanted to post last weekend's finds.
BNIB Mr. Frosty (new edition, around £30 on eBay) £1
Large electronic Pokemon pinball table £5
Assassin's Creed Xbox 360 game £5 (few pounds cheaper than eBay which is a bonus as I wanted this anyway)
    Around 250 Pokemon cards, 50p

Looks like everyone is having very good luck on the finds as well :)

OMG!No I didnt see that! Its not one of the picasso esq ones though much more run of the mill looking, just flowers, looks like just a nice modern still life to me.But the flowers went for lots too. When I realised it was a known artist I thought maybe £100 but that website has definately raised my hopes.Getting photos off to the auction house right now.Fingers crossed.

Hi, I live in Nigeria and would love to purchase your painting for one million dollars. I like it very much....

Seriously though, my heart leaps at these "too good to be true moments" - are you sure it's not a print? How did you know the name of the artist, they are normally signatures and very difficult to read?

What kind of frame is it in?

Still, all very exciting! :D Can you post a pic so we can see?
    I love surprises!

Well, we didn't make the boot sale this morning 'cos it looked a bit like rain so just the monthly jumble today.
Not many there but not much in the way of bargains either:

2 vintage plastic Addis flasks in orange and yellow
Pair of hand crocheted multi-coloured blankets
Vintage Witney blanket (in Battenburg cake colours)
    1970's-era tooled leather sandals
Vintage Charles Jourdan leather shoulder bag
    1960's men's tennis shorts
Kookai assymmetic hemmed hippy skirt with sequinned waistband
New Look cropped jeans with tags still attached
    Gap "Long and Lean" jeans
2 official Michael Jackson tour teeshirts
    Fully-fashioned Leopard print cardi
    H&M men's teeshirt with funky 1980's graphics
    Vintage silk scarf
Funky 1980's hand-knitted purple mohair cardi
1980's high-waisted black leather drainpipe trousers
Leather Primark gladiator-type sandals in yellow and turquoise
1980's jersey leggings with "Only in Ibiza" written down one leg (don't ask )

Everything was 20p an item so not too bad a spend.

Londoners, any heads up on jumbles very gratefully received. I used to love me & my mate used to go "jumbliing" - great word :D

I did a search for the signature which is j.philippe, and I wasn,t even sure the h and l were h and l at first as they are just squiggles.I found some info on jean-phillipe dallaire and some images of paintings, the signature matches this one so I hope it is one of his.
I will try change my avater for a day to show the painting, quicker than uploading to photobucket then here.
It could be a print I suppose but you cans ee the texture of the paper and I have not taken it out of the frame as its sealed with brown artists tape and all old and a bit cracked,I would have to cut it open to see the reverse of the picture. That makes me think its about 60 years old(40,s or 50,s) which would fit with this artist.
I am no expert, far from it,I just buy stuff I like and very often it turns out it is worth quite a bit more than I paid.Fingers crossed, but I will let you know what the auctoneer says, even if they say its a copy,a different artist or a pile of old tat worth no more than the £3 I paid for it.
