There used to be car boots on at the Rugby Club in Kilmarnock but have not seen any advertising for that one this year.I sold stuff at that a few years ago and did okay but it was a small boot sale and not very busy, more traders than customers.
Oh theres also one in Troon which is a regular indoor one but I have never been.
Went to the carboot in the rugby club some time ago but like you said it does not seem to be running any more. If you hear of any in the area pm me will you. Ta

My thoughts exactly! My BF is always accusing me of being a witch. Better get them listed over the weekend so someone can buy them and say "Oh yes, I've been a fan of his for years". Sad news, but not altogether surprising...................................0 -

Now I don't know what to do on Saturday, if I should travel to denham or go to the London jumble sale and then off to dulwhich on my way to my mums, or go to kilburn and then dulwhich?
I cant believe IVE never heard of uit before either - although im not as close as you are :rotfl: Im in Elephant & Castle, os its not too bad for me.
I thought Denham was Sunday? I sold there adn could have sworn etc... Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I will try change my avater for a day to show the painting, quicker than uploading to photobucket then here.
It could be a print I suppose but you cans ee the texture of the paper and I have not taken it out of the frame as its sealed with brown artists tape and all old and a bit cracked,I would have to cut it open to see the reverse of the picture. That makes me think its about 60 years old(40,s or 50,s) which would fit with this artist.
I am no expert, far from it,I just buy stuff I like and very often it turns out it is worth quite a bit more than I paid.Fingers crossed, but I will let you know what the auctoneer says, even if they say its a copy,a different artist or a pile of old tat worth no more than the £3 I paid for it.
How exciting! I love these kind of stories- really hope it turns out to be something amazing! And I guess even if not, you won't have lost anything.
Even if it is a print, it sounds by the age that it would probably be a artist-released litho or something, and these can still be worth a (much smaller) fortune- I had a signed Matisse print on my bedroom wall at college (sounds bizarre, I know, but it came with the room!), which was apparently worth rather a tidy sum. Definitely keep us posted0 -
