Does anyone know if there are any car boots/jumbles on in Northampton on sunday ?
I usually find out via the Chronicle and Echo website but its typically not updated again.

    TIA

    Hi,

I don't know where abouts you are in Northampton but if you are near Crick, Junction 18 on M1 there is a big one there every Sunday which is usually good.

We went to a new car boot today and I got a Denby Midnight teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl for £5! I looked it up on internet and the teapot is £56 on its own! I usually buy to sell on ebay but I really like it and it is not the same as my other Denby but its the same colours so I think it goes well!!
Also got two Ready Beds which were £3 for both, they will go on ebay later as they go for between £10 - £20 each!
I love car boot sales and after reading this thread have just started to go back to the charity shops finding loads of bargins!

Hi Lynz, neither can I!!! The 1970's and especially maxi dresses/skirts are the love of my life. My heart seriously skips a beat and my palms go all sweaty when I spy a groovy print.
We were planning to do another car boot ourselves tomorrow but think we'll just have a skinful tonight and go buying instead.

We're doing a car boot (selling) tomorrow, weather permitting, and I've got tons of Next, River Island, Monsoon, stuff, some of which is brand new, never worn with tags.

What do you reckon pricing wise, we're not greedy, just want rid, I have nil interest in clothes.......would a quid each be too much?

Eldest DD will be with me and she IS interested in clothes and seems to find the bargains, I think I'll leave her in charge of the clothes bit.:D
