What are good brand names that we should look out for that may be worth something

I find these brands sell well ,Next, Boden, Jane Norman, monsoon, Per Una, Moto jeans, some Top Shop items and sometimes i have sold rubish brands just because the item is different or retro.

Mini Boden childrens clothes sell well and sometime i sell some of my daughters Next clothes for more than i payed for it new .

Afternoon all! Just sorting my car booting stuff out ready for tomorrow morning. We're off to a punk gig tonight so don't know where my heads gonna be at 8am in the morning.

Had to share my bargain of the day:

Spotted a pair of immaculate black leather lace-up "Paul Smith" handmade men's boots complete with dust bags in a chazza shop this morning. Took them to the counter to ask the price and the nice lady behind the counter said: "Would £1.50 be okay?". Needless to say a purchase was made and an extra £1 put in the collection box on the till. :j
I showed them to a friend with a shoe shop and he said they they retail at £250!!!
Sadly my BF couldn't squeeze his hooves into them so they are destined for eBay.

    Happy car booting!

Outsize clothes, particually from Evans/Ann Harvey tend to do well I find, and larger shoes sizes - particually 8's!

Also if you do car boots often, I'd suggest getting a cheap & cheerful clothes rail from Argos... I find people pay more for items neatly presented on hangers as apposed to being dumped in boxes!

Im car booting on Sunday and have stacks of stuff too take...havent done it for a while as I usually trade "faceless" on eBay so any advice on being firm to hagglers would be appreciated!

I feel I mark up my items fairly to start with... but unfortunately some people want things for nothing!!

I'm really looking fwd to it ...just hoping the weather stays dry!

It's been fab reading all your finds, & hearing the advice - thank you!!

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

I bought the poundland Kodak AA batteries for my little digital camera but they were so weak there wasnt even enough power in them to switch the camera on.We put them in the TV remote instead and they worked for 2 weeks.I have had sony batteries from argos before and they did last a while.

Sorry off topic but...was it Zinc ones you bought, they don't last 2 seconds, always buy alkaline.

Weather looking good this weekend am off to a summer fete this afternoon & then doing a carboot tommorrow with my mom.
I have a sneaky plan to avoid getting harrased by the dealers, as soon as i get there we lock up the car have a look round at the other stalls for a while and then when we go back to start setting up our stall all the dealers have moved on to harass the new latest car which has arrived works every time and means i get to have a good look round before I start!!
