Back from my little trip to Devon. We found loads of charity shops but sadly most of them seemed to be like the one on the Mary Portas programme!
We did get a Pelham puppet for £5, a pair of PunkRose pumps £2.99 for me and a brand new pair of cycling shoes £5.99 for DH (this is a MEGA bargain).
Back to the local shop down the road today, where I got a M&S Autograph top for £1 and M&S pedal pushers £3.
Lucy*Locket, whereabouts in Hertfordshire are you? I'm in Watford and usually go to Nash Mills bootsale on a Sunday. I think I'll give it a miss this week though, even if it's on it will be very muddy.

    Have pmd you hornetgirl.

WOW! TRIKER i'm jealous of your Le Creuset pans! Not many sellers at my car boot, and although i got some bits..i didn't really get the best bargains ever! However i did get a bag of Barbie accessories including a barbie horse/moped etc for my neice for £1 (although i gave a little girl the Barbie horse out of the bag as she wanted it but i'd already brought the bag so that's my good deed for the day!). Hope next week will be better! :)

In the last few weeks I've had several bargains. I got some Clarins cream for £1 (full, unused 30 ml tube), a Gund teddy for £1 and a very collectable animal ornament for 50p. I've also recently had a big pile of new craft type magazines for £1.

However, my very best bargain was in a charity shop - a beautiful bag with a name embossed on the front flap. Chucked in a big box with all manner of holdalls, bags and rucksacks labelled "All bags 35p". I didn't know the name but I could see it was FAB leather (but needed treating) so I bought it and came home and googled it and :eek: these bags sell for anywhere between £650-£1000. :j:j I treated the leather, the inside was spotless anyway and I am delighted with my bargain find.

Thats fab! Can you tell us the name so we know what to look for?
I'm hopeless with names of stuff like that but thanks to this thread I'm learning what to look for.
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(
