On Sunday mornings theres a boot sale at Chester le Street, near where Batleys is. Also one at Staney/Annfield Plain.
On a Sunday afternoon there's one at Seaham on the cliff tops - 1pm start. Also at Hexham in the Auction Mart - 12pm start. There's also one at Redcar but I don't know what time that starts.:j30/7/10:j

Hi Louby Lou - I usually go to the car boot at the Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster. Sunday mornings - its a big one and an early start - I usually get there about 8.30am and its already very busy! Not Buying It! 20150 -
What a vile day, thunder, cold winds and torrential rain. Don't think there'll be many car boots around here this weekend.
Went chazza shopping this morning and got a sheer puff-sleeved prissy bow Primark blouse for £1.95, some big hoop ethnic bead earrings for 50p and a sealed pot of Ojon restorative hair treatment for 75p (just what my long hair needs!).
I've applied the treatment to my hair and it smells absolutely gorgeous, I've googled it and apparently it sells on QVC for £29:j
Hope everyone has a brilliant weekend despite the weather. xx0 -
Yesterday i popped into the local hospice shop, they were doing baby/toddler clothes 4 for £1 so my DS now has a variety of Next, Pumpkin Patch, Gap clothes which have hardly been worn so he looks like a trendy little dude! Also picked up a gorgeous Cerrutti (sp?) skirt for £1 on the bargain rail! Very pleased!August: £149/£150
Sept: £200

I've just discovered this thread too - what a good one!
I love going car-booting and went along to one a couple of weeks ago. While there I picked up a pretty bracelet for 20p. On going to work on Monday one of my colleagues saw it and remarked on it, saying that Debenhams sold the 'Pilgrim' range of costume jewellery and that their prices ranged from £20 upwards. I was totally unaware of the make so was chuffed with my bargain. She couldn't believe the price I paid either.
Last year I picked up a pair of virtually unworn Birkenstocks for £3. Saved me having to shell out £35 for a pair in The Office! It's wouldn't have not wouldn't of, shouldn't have not shouldn't of and couldn't have not couldn't of. Geddit?0 -
Today I bought a French Connection shirt for £2.75. Looks great.
I did see a couple of suspicious fakes too - a Ben Sherman shirt that looked very average, had no spare buttons or care instruction label, and the buttons didn't have any writing on them, saw another Ben Sherman shirt later and checked for comparison - it had the buttons and looked much more like the real thing. I wish the shops would check and then bin these things!"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0
