Do they fake Ben Shermans? I wouldn't have thought there was enough value in them to make it worth fakingNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

A new Ben Sherman shirt isn't cheap, so producing a bunch of fakes must be worth it to the fakers on some level. Chinese and Indian sweatshops will knock out anything if there's a margin on them. They may not have been fakes, but the shirts looks very average, and without any of the normal details, like the buttons and the spare buttons you get on even every day high street generic shirts etc. Why would they make some with and some without those things?"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

Yesterday i bought a Wollis 3 piece outfit in the 2nd hand shop, it was 7.00 but well worth it (perfect for a wedding), also 2 girld dresses for 2.00 each for my little girl and a wow wow wubbzy DVD for my other little girl.
Weathers not looking great for tomorrow and my daughter has a party to go to so i am dragging the girls out to a jumble sale whilst OH is at work. I must try not to pick up too much as i am running out of space.0 -

On a Sunday afternoon there's one at Seaham on the cliff tops - 1pm start. Also at Hexham in the Auction Mart - 12pm start. There's also one at Redcar but I don't know what time that starts.
Thanks.

Ben Sherman used to do a cheaper range for Matalan, official merchandise but with a few cost cutting measures ie., different buttons.
I've been into the official Diesel store in Kuala Lumpar where the goods had "Made under licence for Diesel in Malaysia" on the label, not a fake just inferior quality.0 -

Perhaps you are right however not all real Ben Sherman has the name on the buttons. My brother wears a lot and most of the items have the name but not all.
But you can't expect everyone to know how to spot a fake and make sure they don't sell them in charity shops. Most are manned by volunteers who tend to be older ladies who would have no idea
If you know its not real then you don't need to buy it but someone might love it even though its not the real thingNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

Quite right, JesaRose. A lot of people may just need a new teeshirt or shirt and not be bothered by labels and there's no way all volunteers know or are able to recognise a fake designer label, they just want to raise money for charity.0
