I bought 2 Louis Vuitton bags for £3.99 each a few years back. A shop near my mums used to do kids clothes 3 for £1. My niece had just been born and i managed to find a brand new dress/top set in newborn size! Got my son a couple of bits so 33p each! (approx.
) Also a few months later managed to get her another brand new dress/top outfit in there for £1.

I haven't found anything as exciting as you lot but a couple of charity shops around here sell their baby clothes for 50p which is great for us. There's always tons of Next stuff in there. I even got a snowsuit for 50p once!
Unfortunately the prices for adult clothes are rubbish - women's tops £4.80, even when worn and bobbly and from a cheap shop to begin with.'They only had one cow!'0 -
There was a report in the Guardian recently claiming that the credit crunch has affected charity shops. They aren't getting so many donations because people tend to hold on to things when there's a recession on hence the rise in prices to increase profits.
I hate it when I see shrunken up Primark teeshirts priced at £3.90. Some Chazza shops seem to think Primark's a designer make and even write PRIMARK on the price label. I was in a shop the other day and a Primark jacket was £9.99 and a vintage Jaegar one was £3!!
I splashed out today, paid £4.95 for a gorgeous vintage 1970's sundress. I hope we get a good summer, it'll be a fab festival dress. Mind you, I also bought a fold-up transparent 1950's mac for 75p so I suppose I could wear it over the top of the dress! Oh yep, also got a Typhoon enamel retro-style coffee jar for 50p for my Bf to keep his decaff in. :j
One of our local car boot sales restarts tomorrow, if the weather improves I might have to take a trip. I'll keep you posted. xx0 -

Louis Vuitton expertly crafts their handbags out of one continuous piece of of fabric or leather so if the item in question has cut off/asymmetrical logos or a seam at the bottom of the bag, it is not authentic.(although they were actually only £3.49 each so not bad for a nice bag)

My bag has a seam at the bottom and cut off logos so must be fake. Never mind.

Well if they looked good enough to fool you I doubt if anyone else would ever know! Still a great price for a bag whatever way you look at it.0 -

We couldn't go to the local wednesday one today as I'd forgotten the camper was having it's MOT (fingers crossed it's all better for the weekend).0 -
I've got a great local charity shop (independent) - purchases have included a Furla bag for £2, a couple of Versace little black dresses and a Jaeger silk wrap dress for £5 each, and I've just got the OH a Burberry lambswool jumper for £2 in another one.. Other buys include a couple of great 1950s vintage coats, one in museum condition...0
