Does any one know about records?
Also picked up some vintage board games for 50p each, one was worth 10.00 on e-bay but 2 pieces are missing.
the nirvana record could be worth something, is it 12" or 7" inch?
Does it have any numbers on it? Usually on the record, near the centre (usually scratched in)
do you know what song it is?:d0 -

Hi guys
I got some great bargains last Monday, we went down to epsom for the first time, we were a bit lost but a nice lady showed us the way and showed us a shortcut too, which was great as it cut down the 20 mins walk to just 5-10! I got:
3 tops - 2 topshop 1 cartoon junk food t-shirt £3.50
Topshop leather shoes £2
Wrangler black cowboy boots £4
River island checked top £1
Topshop leather tan bag with a top metal frame 50p I love this!
Body shope make up bag with travel size creams 50p
DR Haushka gift set £5
Primp London rabbit print top £5
New white dress with bow pockets £7
Adidas white hooded top 50p
Topshop navy dress 75p
Topshop blues skirt 75p
Bright pink Monsoon/Accessorize scarf 50p
M&S stripey cashmere cardigan 50p
My fav buy was Next coat with a bit bow on the front and puff bell sleeves £3 - it’s a kids size 9-10 yrs old, but it fits me (im a size 6-8) the sleeves come up as 3/4 and it is mid thigh length and I can button it up too, I love love love it! I wanted a similar one from french connection last year, it had a big bow on the front collar and 3/4 puff sleeves and a bit of a balloon size but they sold out of the sz 6 and the 8 made me look odd, it was £95 so I'm very happy with this!!
I got a few other pieces too, but I can't remember what…I saw a lush pair of leather knee length riding style boots for £10, but only had £15 left so wanted to look around a bit more, then I forgot about them when I gopt home. I wish I had bought them now :-(0 -
do people buy stuff from carboots to resell on Ebay. I've tried finding things this weekend and to be honest I didn't know what was worth it or not.
I usually buy the items to keep, wear them a few times and then give to my bf's mum to send to her relatives in the philipines or sometimes sell them on eBay, but I never buy purposely to sell on. I do have a shopping addiction and its better for me to shop in car boot sales and spend around £50 each time then to go to the shops and spend a small fortune (which is what I used to do before I found this thread!!)0 -

Hello all...
I braved it on sunday and did a boot with my mate, there were sooo many folk doing one as well so the competition was fierce...i made £56 (with takin out the £7 fee) so not too bad. I mainly had clothes which i was selling for 50p and £1 so i managed to shift the bulk of it.
I spotted a couple of tops on the stall opposite so grabbed them...
new cotton new look top £2
primark multi cotton top 50p
so was pleased with them, but i soo wanted to have a good rummage around but resisted as i was there to try and make some pennies and not spend them!
I did go to one on monday but it wasn't very big but i did manage to get a couple of things...
ASOS red belted coat £2 (well chuffed with this as i'd wanted a red one for a while and couldn't really justify buying a new one)
brown boots £2.50 (these are nearly exactally the same as some cattapillar ones i wanted ages ago but at £75 i passed on them, the ones i got are by miss fiori...i think they are childrens ones, but i only a size 4 so they fitted a treat, they r lush and have fur inside them and down the side and a buckle, not sure if they r leather but for £2.50...plastic is good enough for me!)
Hope you all had succesful bargin hunting days...roll on next sunday so i can get back to buyin and not selling.
