:o , which is exactly why my underwear doesn't match. It's hard enough to find bigger sized bras anyway, let alone in colours that co-ordinate with your knickers.

What's with the paper on the worktops too? Does she mean on top of wall units? Mine go up to my ceiling so no gap to get dust in. surely she doesn't mean ordinary worktop  . Do I need to stack all the dirty pots on newspaper first :p
  • Apparently Marilyn Monroe always wore black bottoms and flesh coloured tops, when she remembered. I wish Anth would do a tip on turning greige undies back to their original colour and pink Y-fronts back to white :o

Oh Squeeky what would we do with out you thanks for the link to flyladys!! ;)

Well I'm watching it now and it seems okay to me, the voice over woman seems to be hamm'in it up a bit so it is a bit cheesy but its okay so far. :)

I know a lot of people can keep house but there are some people that really don't have a clue and others that can't be **** and need some motivation.

I'm a little bit worried because I already do some of the things she says mainly stuff in baskets (not undies in plastic bags lol) is that a good thing or a bad thing??? :D

Anyways I feel rough as so I'm going to go to bed...of course I'll be watching the rest of it upstairs lol. :)
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

Well I watched and I liked some of the tips - putting all the kids crockery etc in an accessible cupboard to them was one. I already do this with their cups but hadn't thought to put their plates and bowls in there too.

She seems mad keen on baskets which I find expensive, bulky, sometimes hard to store, or make place look cluttered if let out. I prefer to use things I already have like one of my toiletry bags for the knickers etc.

And re it wasn't the correct wine  . It might have been the wine the womans friends liked the best.

Here is a tidying up problem of my own.

Put 2 year old to bed, tidy up her room quickly as you are doing this. 1 hour later 2 year old going on about she has lost her dummy. Go in bedroom and discover clothes and toys all over the floor. Discover 2 year old has dropped dummy, got out of bed to search for it, and decided to pull drawers out and scatter clothes everywhere seeking it whilst also getting distracted by playing with toys-also pulled out and all over floor. Find another dummy and repeat from beginning of paragraph.

Any solutions greatly received from anyone doesn't have to be Anthea:D

This brought back memories I'd forgotten about. My daughter who is 12 now, used to do this from being able to walk. It wasn't that she was looking for anything (that i know of) but she always pulled her drawers and wardrobes out when she was in her room.

We put one of those things that goes through the handles on the wardrobe and little window locks on the end of each of the drawers, which were pretty easy for us to open but impossible for her.

maybe we'd have been better off leaving it, you should see her room now...
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

    another brill episode.

one woman got an extra room and the other changed from being a dirty bissom into the perfect housewife!

the thing with the clear bags was a little extreme but was for ease of weekends away ie- pick a bag with lovely matching undies -(wish i had some lol)

the other tip was to hook the bra through the matching undies and therefore all your sets were easy to find

paper on top of wall units so those of us with boxed in units don't need to bother.

2 year olds don't really need a dummy. So toss it. Problem solved.;)
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

That is the next step but she's only recently grasped toilet training, and recent illness seems to have set her back, and we're having quite a lot of accidents at the mo. I don't want to add taking a dummy away to all this.
