If the supermarkets catch on to this programme, I can see the price of white vinegar will go up0

Spendless wrote:That is the next step but she's only recently grasped toilet training, and recent illness seems to have set her back, and we're having quite a lot of accidents at the mo. I don't want to add taking a dummy away to all this.
Oh OK. You can get little plastic chains that attach to the dummy and then you clip them onto their clothing. It's usually for smaller babies who spit them out etc but it may work for your littlie. She won't need to go searching for it at least. Good luck. I just went cold turkey with my three when they were about 1. After a few nights they seemed to forget all about it.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Spendless strap your daughter in her bed then she can't get out lol....only joking tee hee hee
Munch is still in her cot bed with the bars on so she can't get out!!! She is two but I decided at the earliest I was going to take down the bars 1) if she tried to climb over them or 2) when I start potty training her which will be in the summer, I think shes ready for it she goes into a different room when she poos and says whats shes doing etc, when I go for a wee she picks up her potty and puts it next to the toilet and sits on it so I'm just waiting until the weather picks up so its easier to clean up and wash clothes etc anyway thats a whole other thread isn't it. Munch found her fingers at about 5 days old and refused a dummy so atleast thats one thing I don't have to worry about.
As for Anthea, I thought it was quite good some things I already do and I think most of the comments advice she gave was helpful. I'm glad the woman with blonde hair won I think she really needed it more than the other woman and the programme seemed to have helped both of them.I am not a very tidy person but even I was shocked at the woman who didn't clean her bathroom it really was horrid, still programmes like this and kim and aggie make me feel like my house isn't the worst house in the world.

Wish I had BBC3, would love to see what you're all talking about. Wonder if it'll be repeated on BBC1 or 2 at some stage?
For those of you thinking about storage boxes, I came across a brilliant idea the other day to make Laura Ashley-style patterned boxes at a fraction of the price (LA charges £25 for three matching boxes  ) Save up a few shoeboxes and any other boxes that you think might be useful. Cover the boxes and the lids in pretty wallpaper or fabric. Simple as that. You could use leftovers from decorating projects if you don't want to spend a penny. Personally I'm about to cover a whole heap of boxes in vintage wallpaper that I picked up at the local antiques market - £2 for a whole roll. Should look stunning. I might also cover a couple of boxes in fabric if I've got any leftovers after I've made my cushions (fabric came from the bin of roll-end scraps and was v. cheap).0 -
fab idea ! im going to do that for the kids toys and junk !
also going to line rattan / wicker baskets ive already got with pretty fabric to make them look a bit better : )0 -

What makes me laugh is how wound up she gets about plastic or wire coat hangers - not all of us have ruddy great closets and those wooden ones take up so much space. I am surprised she has such a dated hairstyle (miaow
).
I would find it easy to be more organised in a massive house like hers. Mine would fit into her kitchen!!!Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Haven't got BBC3 unfortunately but would love to watch this. I really love these sort of programmes!
I would love to be the sort of woman to have towels all neatly folded up and all my clutter organised!
Hope it gets repeated on 'normal' tv soon!0
