i watched anth last nite but didnt really learn much, was a bit disappointed with that episode tbh
They take it turns to feed the animals Dog,rabbit, fish, cockatiel ect and do help to set the table if threatened. As to the drawing, her walls are emulsioned and easy to wash down and it's just something that the little ones went through. The three youngest are 6,nearly 5 and 21 months . I remember the 6 year old when she was trying to get him 'dry' had a preponderance for using the nearest recepticle when he felt the uge to have a 'squirt' and was busy playing.
I always made sure that my handbag was out of reach He managed her jewllery box once and she soon learnt to move precious things out of range .
They really are great kids if a little untidy and they are growing up very quickly0 -

I watched AT last night.............now forgive me for picking up a negative about Princess so bloody perfect patronising old cow Turner
Sorry i forgot where i was then !
She was sitting there last night telling the ladies about how the kitchen should be a haven of clean, and behind her was a big back cat sitting on the side-board probably after licking it's danglies
Surley she would dissaprove if that was in someone elses house0 -
She has some good tips but is way too far up her own bottom!!! My home is clean and tidyish - as tidy as it can be with a 4 and 2 year old. I have drawing up the wall - so be it, my 2 year old experimented, got told no but it really is rather artistic and does make me smile each time I walk up the stairs!
Anthea would probably squeal in disgust as my children shake their glitter pots all over the table missing the paper completely and be horrified as they walked to the sink to wash the paints from their hands, touching the wall , the chair - so what it can be cleaned.
I have a quick whiz around every day, beds are made, dishwasher loaded, washing on, hoover, wash floors and other bits when necessary - i.e change beds but I won't spend hours, I'd rather spend the time with my kids making more mess and as for taking pictures dwon that your kids have done, my kitchen is a testimony to my kiddies artwork, it's everywhere!!!!
I would like to meet the "real person" who keeps her house clean, I don't believe she doesn't have a cleaner.
anyway, off to create a mess in the kitchen for dinner whilst my little ones are sleeping.

She also does a part-time job in an estate agency at the week-end, she really is a super-mum.
In the summer holidays all the children in the neighbourhood know that great fun and free cakes can be obtained at her house. If she ever won the lottery she would buy a huge house and fill it with the unwanted children in this world. She is an amazing lady and I think she deserves a medal. I am so proud to be her mumI think she is the original Mother Earth.
She rarely goes out anywhere smart and spends most of her time and money on the 'tribe.
I am taking her as a special treat to see Robbie Williams in September and will treat her to a slap-up meal as well.0 -
aww what a fab daughter you have : ) and what a fab mum taking her to see Robbie <drool drool>0

I had to re-read that last post,
i wondered what AT would be doing working part time in an estate agents
Jackie O you sound like a fab mum (((hugs)))0 -
She's teaching us to suck eggs! if u know what i mean. Fancy that, the woman who got her guests to move her garbage!
I cleared a drawer in my front room dresser whilst watching ms t with my daughter. Spose its useful because the majority of people dont pass tips on now re. housekeeping. Nanna told me how to clean windows and let me help with cooking and dusting, and also the right way to put sheets and blankets on a bed, mum taught me that you don't need recipes to cook, Dad taught me how to fold clothes and polish shoes (ex army;)) and also to chop wood and scavenge for free firewood, mushrooms and pheasants. I don't NEED anth apart from the fact she has given me a little memory jog!
And the cat on the worktop - EUHGH! I would refuse to eat in her house.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
I have done reading too!
