Yeah, I'm sure she has forgotten but still feel carp for going off on one. Have had to go and get her from school early cos she had a bit of a sore eye this morning but now it is all swollen and red and weeping. She has obviously caught dd2's conjunctivitis, bless her. Then there were tears cos she was meant to have her singing club straight after school today and obviously cant now.

It's quite hard with job no2 but the extra £200 or so a month will make so much difference. I wont really see it next month cos I'll be using it to pay for the rest of our holiday but as of July it will really help with the debts.

I would love to have some me time but the only time I don't have the kids is if I'm working or maybe on a saturday night if my Mum has them so I can work on a Sunday morning but then I have to be up at six so it's not really much of a break.

I don't know what's wrong with me, must be hormones, I just feel so fed up.

Glad your mum's getting a bit better, you made me laugh with the brain thing!! he he.

    xx

At least theres light at the end of the tunnel as they say with the holiday in July, the break will do you all the world of good.

Do you think (without being cheeky or nosey), that you reassess the money situ as u will know where u are with tax credits (she says with abidated breath), that you could do a reassesmenton the soa, and c if you can reduce the hrs.

I know ur doing it for the right reasons, but u need to try and put urself 1st, not in a selfish way even if its a dvd, a homemade footspa (washing up bowl, put some marbles in bottom, bath bomb or spot of bubblebath).

You take care, I'm always here if u need anyone x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hi, yeah we actually go away at the end of August but July is the month where financially I should start seeing a real difference.

I have had a nice chilled afternoon, put dd2 for a nap and spent half hour doing some paintings with dd1 (to try and ease my guilt of being mean). Then I had a nice hot bath and conditioned my hair and am just about to dry it (normally just tie it back to save time).

I'm gonna stick dd1 in the bath and let her have a go at washing her own hair, we'll see if it's rinsed enough. Then I'm gonna get the dinner stuff ready so it's not a mad panic later.

The house next door to mine is empty and I've just seen some people being shown round by the housing assoc. They looked quite nice and I'm guessing their little girl is about the same age as dd2 which will be nice. Hopefully I'll be able to make a new friend for us both, it gets a bit lonely here, I know a few people but miss having friends and family close by. There's no one here that I can turn to in an emergency or anything like that. Fingers crossed they take it and we will get on.

Thanks Mum2One, it really means a lot to know you're here if I need you. Thank you so much. Now I just need to pick myself up and I'll be good. xx

OMG, so much has happened on your thread today. *hugs* for all the bad stuff and *woohoo* for the good bits.

I had a random hormonal outburst at work the other night so your not the only one a little bit screwy at the mo :o I was crying actual tears in public firstly because I was annoyed and then later because the new doorman (who happens to be a bit yummy) said he respected me for being a single parent/working/doing a degree etc, my eyes wouldn't stop leaking for ages it was v. embarrassing which just made it worse :o

Your doing really well, even if it doesn't seem like it some days, we all have days like that (i've had 2wks worth in one go, hence why i've avoided posting for a while :rotfl:)

Hope your day keeps getting better!

Ahhh bless you, glad it's not just me, just feeling mega fed up, I'll be alright.

What's been happening the last 2 weeks to make them bad for you? Hope nothing too bad. How's the debt busting going and more importantly is the Cap1 still low?

Things will hopefully start to change for me in July-September. I'll be able to start paying more to my debts by then and fingers crossed I'll have the result from Welcome.
I say fingers crossed cos the man I spoke to couldn't give me a time frame but did say 'hopefully before Christmas'!!! I'm hoping it's earlier though. Probably gonna surprise them a bit when I request it straight off of my balances but it will feel sooo good when the time comes and my balances really get a kicking. I plan to use my wages from job no2 for HLC for the first few months and hopefully I will have settled them by the end of August, we will see!!

Ooooh look at me with all my plans, starting to feel better already. I need to focus more on the positives and with a few early nights I'll be right as rain in no time.

    xx

Planning makes me happier too! My carppy 2wks were a combination of my mum/men/work/ill LO/over doing it in general and feeling rubbish. NOTHING has gone on my CCs though which is great for me.

Kinda accidently became an Avon Lady today, very random but means when i'm all set up Fri I can phone up and re-jig my benefits and get WTC again which means extra monies (not sure how much yet, probably about £20-£25) every week regardless of what I actually make in commission and i'll be able to get Avon stuff cheaper which aren't bad things for a worst case scenario really.

I feel like i'm getting somewhere with the house thing now which is nice and (after about 2 years) I actually phoned the CSA to chase up my maintenance claim, apparently the reason i've never heard anything is because the JobCentre never actually fowarded the form they made me fill in, so i printed off a form which I'm going to try and post tomorrow even though I kinda don't want to, it does have to be done though.

Talking of Cap1, why's your's still on £27? I thought we were going to celebrate it being cleared again?? lol.

Yay that nothing has gone on the cards. Boo about all your other problems.

The job centre are a flippin nightmare then?? Hopefully it will be sorted soon though and tax creds don't take child maintenance into account so will be good when your working for Avon too. I did Avon once but I had the most poo round and never sold a thing, finally managed to pay them off £180 that I owed them in March though which was nice. And I'm sure they were surprised seeing as they had not contacted me for 4 years and I only realised I owed it through my credit report :p:p

I have a confession with the Cap 1, it 'might' be a little higher than £27, more like £80, I had a bit of a wobble last weekend and filled the car up and got some shopping on it so I could reserve the cash in my pocket. I have no idea why I did it, I just did not want to spend the cash. Anyway it is now cut up and officially on my hit list. I can't bring my self to update my sig so will announce to all when I have cleared it again!!

    Sorry everyone.

YM20, I haven't had a chance to look yet cos just in from work but have you updated your own thread yet??

No i've not, my thread depresses me atm! I'll start a shiny new one when something goes right lol.

How did you end up owing them so much? Slightly worried now! My mums kinda put me off a bit being her usual horrible self but like I said, the worst I can do at it still leaves me in a better position financially than I am now, or at least it should in theory!

Can totally understand that, my dotty p's card might possibly be about 30quid more than my sig says but everything was 20% off so it'll still work out cheaper than paying cash so long as I get it paid off soon! But sshh, I won't tell everybody if you don't! :rotfl:

Oh no, don't let it put you off, when I started doing it you had to pay for a start up kit and then what with getting no orders and charges over 4-5 years it just mounted up. It was all my fault and as long as you're sensible you'll be fine. That was back in the days when I never paid my bills and literally had no money. Plus am I right in thinking you don't have to pay for the start up kit now? I think I heard that somewhere.

I feel a bit carp about the Cap1, I really did take a good few steps back. In my head I just didn't want to spend 'my' money. Mental I know, but I'm back on track now and it's officially cut up. Nice to know I'm not the only one that sometimes revert back and can't help myself.

Write on your thread and get some of the last 2 weeks off your chest, might make you feel better. xx

    Todays List....

    1) Hoover, polish telly, normal daily odds and sods.

    2) Post 2 eBay parcels.

    3) DE-dog patio.

    4) 1 hours worth of ironing...I am breaking this up into small bursts, I have so much to do and just don't feel like it. If I break it up it feels more do-able.

    5) 4 hours of work. **Priority**

    6) Painting with dd1, she is off school again and missing art club today, also meant to have friend over so being mega mopy.

    7) Call Ombudsman to complain about how they allocate cases and e-mail their service review manager to complain officially. **Priority**

At least I have no school run to adhere to so off I go, on with the list
