Woop woop it's Friday!!! Except, hang on, I'm working all weekend!! Hey ho, it all adds up.

I'm at job no1 today but just can't get motivated to do anything...I have a pile of papers to sort through but can't seem to do it. Had an awful nights sleep last night due to my poor dd2. She's had conjunctivitis for a week now and every time I think it's gone she wakes up with big swollen eyes again, bless her. Oh what I'd do to sleep past 6.30 lol.

I've been naughty today already. I had to go to Tescos to get some nappies and bought a night garden tent thingy for her birthday at the beginning of May and also got her some joggers and a tracky top in the sale. Oooops, but it is all for pressies so I don't feel too bad and it came out of what was left of the tax creds money.

I still haven't received my new award notice so feeling nervous until it comes through. I've made a bit of a mistake with my renewal as well. I was a bit unwell last year and had a lot of time off work so my lovely boss kindly lent me some money through out the year to keep me going. I pay him back £50 out of my wages each month and that's that but when I did my renewal I included the loan in my income but now I've received my P60 it's £2000 less than I told them. Should I just call them and tell them I made a mistake?

    Any advice appreciated, many thanks.

    Bye for now.

Well I'm ashamed to say I haven't really done much today, I've worked through some of my ever growing pile but it's still huuugggeee!! So there needs to be a big working push now until I finish at 4ish.

Right after I've eaten my 4th mini iced bun and drunk my tea. xx

I'd leave it to Tues onwards next week and ring tax credits, if yr 2k shorter than what you told them, this may will affect your tax credits. if I need to phone any official dept, never ring on Monday,as I think everybody has had say saturdays post and need to get it dealt with, again dont ring Fri - think that people keep meaning to ring forget about it and remember on a Fri

Yeah I think I'll do that, thanks m2o. I wish I knew how much tax creds I'm gonna get Monday, will be the first one since I told them about my new job and as I pay my rent out of my tcs every Monday I just hope it hasn't gone down too dramatically.

Fingers crossed the award notice will be there when I get home and the dog hasn't eaten it lol.

Oh well, last few bits to get on with before I go home, see yas all later.

Not much to report at the moment. Once I get to the end of this month I will start my PAD's again I think cos I have definately been a bit slower since not doing them.

I have to pay for the rest of my hols next month but should still be an ok month.

I have spoken to Welcome Finance this morning regarding 2 complaints I have had with the FOS since last March about PPI and Welcome have told me that they will be settling with me but it will be a few more months yet as they are working through a spreadsheet with around 1300 complaints on it. Still at least I know I'll get the money back eventually which hopefully will fully clear my 2 accs with them...now that'll help bring my dfd forward a tad lol.

I had a busy weekend with work and spent the rest of it chilling with the kiddies and the ex. It was actually really nice. We got on really well so watch this space wink wink.

I got my award notice through and can't quite work out how after I've told them I'm earning more they have put my tc's up by £10 per week?? I hope it's correct cos don't really wanna end up paying it all back again!!

Anyhoo, I'm cooking shepherds pie at the mo so best go check on it. I'm sure I can smell burning mince. Eeeek. xx

Shepherds pie is done and looks and smells lovely. Off to work again tonight so will be lovely to come home to a nice dinner. I've been really bad with my eating, I either come in and pick at carp or don't eat at all. I really need to make sure I make myself some scrummy dinners.

Off to have a bath now, bye for now.

Hope work went ok, thats good news re Welcome even if you have to wait a few months, at least your in the system.
If they have sent you that award and you filled it in correctly I wouldn't worry, or if you like me and like to be 100% sure, give them a ring, and ask them to double check, that way as well as asking your also have proof of ringing as the number will be on the phone bill.

Yeah I think I might do that, I would just hate to have to pay half of it back again next year. Would rather have less coming in now if that's the case.

It is good news about welcome, I'm glad I rung them. There just seems to be no uniform to how the FOS are resolving these cases. Me and another lady have had PPI complaints with the FOS re Welcome since Feb/March last year and still don't have adjudicators whereas others have had welcome cases with them for 3 months and already have adjudicators. It's very frustrating, so I rung the FOS and then Welcome and although it's not 'sorted', at least I know it will be soon (long as welcome don't go bust in the meantime!!).

Thanks for all of your advice mum2one, I really do appreciate it. How's you and how's your mum now?

    xx
