    Todays list:

    1) Normal household stuff...ever feel like you're living in groundhog day?

    2) As many hours work as possible...completely forgot I have no childminder for dd1 tomorrow so can't get in to work and catch up, which also means I have dd2 with me all day as her nursery is near to the office 40 minutes away!!

    3) small food shop, limit £20. Menu plan for next 6 days.

    4) check online banking, calculate dd's going out at end of month and double check there is enough to cover them...should be more than enough.

    5) Chill out!!!

    bye for now.

Well I've managed to get my a**e in gear and get a small amount of work done but thought I'd pop on here for a quick 'breather'.

LO is napping on the sofa under a duvet, she seems to have lost interest in sleeping upstairs over the last week and as long as she sleeps I don't really mind. She grows a pair of horns and starts to growl if she doesn't get enough sleep.

I am halfway through putting some AWOL receipts on to the acc. system at work, worryingly the VAT is coming up cheaper than it ever has. Great on the one hand but on the other where has all the work gone of late? If the VAT is low surely it means we're not invoicing for enough work. Oh dear. Time to run some reports and see how we're doing. Being out of the office all week means I don't always know exactly what's going on so will have to try and find a way of being more in the 'loop'.

Oh well, off to make a quick coffee before getting some more work done. Then off to pick dd1 up and her friend who was meant to come over yesterday that is now coming over today...Oh joy!!!

    xx

Afternoon my lovelies on this lovely sunny day.

Well I've had a strange sort of a day. Went off to Sainsburys to drop a prescription off and bought some milk and bread. I then got the bus to town as this is only 80p whereas parking is at least twice that. I then had a little potter in Newio Lookio.

I found a lovely summer skirt/top and after wandering around a bit more decided I just couldn't resist and then of course I 'had' to have the cardigan in the lovely peachy/pink colour that the top picked out perfectly and of course I 'had' to have the bangles. I got to the till and realised uh oh...NO DEBIT CARD!!!

Dashed off outside in a panic and called Sainsburys who did indeed have my card. So off to the bank I went to withdraw £50 to cover the clothes and to get my nail pen from the body shop. Whilst at the bank the cashier pointed out that I had loads of dd's coming out and would I like to open a seperate account so I could keep track better and keep my dd's and spending money seperate. Well of course this is great, how MSE!!

I then opened said account, turned down the offer of a new credit card with a £1000 limit (crazy if you ask me...my credit rating is awful!!) and purchased my nail pen from Body shop. After all that...I changed my mind about the clothes.Yay!!!

I then walked home and am still feeling very proud of myself. Even more proud because other than a bit of washing I havn't done any housework or 'work' work. (Well I am on a days holiday and as tempting as it is to use today to catch up I'm having a lazy day and that's that lol ).

Anyway, gonna catch up on a few diaries and then chill before picking dd1 up from school xx

Wow, what a lovely day. I'm off today and have had a strange burst of energy considering yesterday I was so tired I felt like I was gonna keel over.

I have put 2 loads of washing on the line, polished the front room and done various other tidying up. dd1 has spent all morning helping me and the house is looking almost spotless already. (apart from the hoovering which will be done after the girls have had their bath).

Off to drink my coffee before bath time. See ya's later.

Ahhh, bless you Swinstie. At least you'll start to see the debts coming down quicker now.

    Right....

Any ideas on how to keep the kids entertained on a rainy, miserable day without spending ANY money at all?? Poor girls, I need to do something with them otherwise they'll end up stuck in doors all week.

    xx
