    Hi Helnag

Have you heard anything yet? I still have'nt. I called the FO and they say they have not been sent anything by welcome yet to show i am to be settled :-(

    Hiya,

No nothing yet :( although they kindly sent me a default notice today with regards to some arrears from 2 years ago...I'm kind of hoping I can get up to date with them before I hear anything so that they don't just take the refund straight off the account!!

Will let you know if I hear anything. xx

Hi Helnag not sure if you realise this but whilst an account is in query (which yours is) its is against the banking code section 13 to take any action such as CCJ, default or so much as file negative info on your credit file about you. You need to make them aware of this fact and tell them that if your payments were adjusted so that PPI was not being paid and never had been you would not have found yourself in arrears. I mention to that Anrew Wakefield about the possibility that whilst this query was ongoing and my payments were still full whack i would struggle. He said if i found myself in any bother whilst they were investigating to call him and he would sort it. So if i were you firstly i would tell whoever has threatened you with the default your legal position in terms of the banking code and also get onto Andrew Wakefield and make it known the undue stress you are being put under whilst they balls about sorting your refund. Its not on eh matey :-)
MY Successes = RBS PPI, RBS bank charges, Aqua PPI, Aqua cc charges, HFC PPI, Welcome Finance PPI, Blackhorse PPI Mums Ongoing= Swift Advances PPI, London Scottish PPI, Blackhorse chgs, GE money pyts missing

    Hi helnag,

Not posted in a few days! Read last posts, Salon Services is a hairdressing supply place where you can get 5 litres of shampoo/conditioner etc., it's around £10 a container but it lasts forever!

Anyway how've you been? Hope you are feeling better xx

    Hi,

Thought I'd better check in to say 'Hi'!! Hope everyone's ok, feeling a bit better but still on a bit of a downer, sure my mood will pick up soon.

Have contacted the ombudsman regarding my home learning college accounts cos have been paying £90 a month between the 2 even though I had a dispute with them and wrote a massive letter of complaint which they pretty much ignored and because they had marked 2 default accs I decided to just shut up and start paying!! Suddenly dawned on me on Thursday night that they must be covered so called FOS and they're writing them a letter so fingers crossed something will get sorted with that.

Anyway off to start painting the garden wall...cheerio!!

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for your msgs, have been popping on but haven't been over on DFW for a while just cos there hasn't really been much to say to be honest.

Financially it all seems to be going wrong lately. I've had endless things crop up that have all cost money and blown my budget. I feel that without DFW it's been a lot harder to stay on track though and although most of my money problems of late stem from emergencies, I have also had the attitude of 'oh well I've blown it now anyway so what's the point' and ended up being a lot more relaxed with my spending.
Guess I need DFW to keep me on track more than I realised.

So I'm back and raring to go. I had some good news yesterday regarding my complaint against Welcome so hopefully within the next 8 weeks this will have a big effect on my debts. This has boosted me no end so I'm hoping the positive mood stays with me.

I have managed a couple of overpayments in the last few weeks but nowhere near as much as I'd like. I have my holiday end of August so I need to try and keep some pennies for that but I'm sure with a bit of pre planning it will be cheap enough. I really want to have got rid of Next and my Capital One by my pay day in September which is the 15th, I know they are small ones but it would make such a big difference to my debts in my head that I know for me they're the best targets. I have a bit of catch up this month as I'm already late with Home Learning College and my council tax but they will be up to date by the 27th.

Oh well off to create a budget.

    xx

    Hi M21,

Thanks, yes I suppose we do. It's just been hard to get the motivation lately, kind of felt that no matter how hard I tried it was too high a mountain to climb but now I've heard from Welcome I know that soon I'll be able to settle my loan and as long as I stay motivated I will have settled Next and Capital One so just HLC and the car to deal with. I'm not sure that I'll receive enough from Welcome to settle the car and I kind of don't want to settle HLC while the FOS is dealing with it but at least my loan will be gone saving me £210 per month!! It's made my target seem a lot more reachable.

    xx
