The first one is the business end, the second is the end opposite the patio doors, to the left is the fridge freezer and to the right at the end the pullout larder unit. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

Happy Birthday to Redruby, Silvercharming and Metherer :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: there you are, one each so no arguing:D
Csarina - kitchen looks lovely and spacious
Bethebee - hugs to your DD, had pre-eclampsia with my DS 25 years ago with 6 weeks in hospital, bored out of my mind and worried at the same time, tell her to get plenty of bed rest, not long to go now
Sistercas - hope they sort the pain meds out for your DH very soon, must be hard for you to see him so much pain too
Well, good news on the DGD front. They are very pleased with her progress and if her oxygen levels and SATs levels stay constant she will be discharged from the hospital early evening. She would not feed from a bottle until DIL convinced them that she was being fed too frequently and didn't want a bottle cos she wasn't hungry. They tried it and, bang, she wolfed a bottle down!!! :j Her lungs are clear now, even though she is still coughing and has a lot more energy now so its  all round
Been food shopping this morning and on the way home we went into B&Q to look at the lawnmowers. DH got one and got a free strimmer with it worth £22 so he was very pleased with that. Came home and thawed out some HM vege soup for lunch and then made some rock cakes I didn't have time to make yesterday. Had a small pile of ironing to so got that out of the way. I have just done a Mr T shop online and for the past 2 months or so none of the money off codes from the discount board ever worked for me. It would be accepted but when I reached the final step it said the code wasnt acceptable. I tried once again today with a £5 off and the same thing happened. I attempted again with a £7.50 off and blow me down it accepted it so am very pleased with that :j
Have a good day all and :grouphug: to all and thanks for all your kind words while DGD was poorly in hospital,0 -
Good afternoon
Not much OS going on today, I've been a bit of an idle moo 'cos joints are bad. DH has been busy cleaning!! I'm going to make cod with parsley sauce later, one of my favourites. I did manage some baking yesterday so felt quite virtuous.
Hugs to everyone in need and congrats where appropriate.
Csarina, I have PMd you re the pegs.
Enjoy the evening.0 -
We have booked the removal for 8th April, I phoned Virgin only to be told that they do not have digital cable its waiting to be upgraded and there are no plans to do it soon, so I have just spent 1/2hour on the phone to Sky.....signed up for TV,broadband and telephone for £31 with sky + box. I have to ring back in 2 weeks to arrange installation, as the diary is not open for April yet.........OH is up again.....I went to Aldi to get some bread to fill the freezer, ended up spending £12. They had a camellia that needed some TLC and geraniums and bizzie lizzies 25 for £2 also sneaked a bottle of wine in for tomorrow......naughty, naughty......pasta and salad for supper tonight I must admit I am tired after my disturbed night, should sleep tomight ok though
PS Mrs MW thanks for the PM I have emailed the lady to see if she has any left.....many thanks............I did have about 100, but when we moved in here I gave them to DD2, I am not about to ask for them back!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
I am so stressed... I just can't cope with them and they are driving me nuts. I am toying with the idea of going to my parents this evening and staying with them for the rest of the week
I was bought up to be polite and I have bitten my tongue all day, but it isn't going to last.
It's OH's mum's birthday too. And they bought her flowers.Which got put in my lovely specially designed handmade glass vase. Which I think she now thinks is the present. OH doesn't have the nerve to tell her and I don't have the language skills. *Anything* else in the house I wouldn't care, but it isn't replacable and it was a gift. I have very few objects I care about, but this is important to me.
On a happier note, my food dehydrator has just shown up - I just don't want to go home and play with itIt's quite noisy though - is that normal?
:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -

Afraid I would say to her, you are welcome to borrow my vase whilst you are here, but its a treasured present given to me and will be staying here. Just try not to let her get away with bullying....thats what is going on....she is a bully......offend her if you have to....mind you it sounds like she is so thick skinned she might not recognise that you are offending her.:D
Its so rude to behave like that in someone elses house, but there is no way I would let her get away with it. If she plays up take the flowers out of the vase and put them in a bucket!!!!!!!!! hide your vase where she cannot get at it....sounds like she has bullied your OH as well if he cannot tell her that the vase is not hers but just on loan whilst she is staying with you. :rolleyes:Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0
