  • Morning guys!

up late this morning after having a lovely lie in! Can't beat a good lie in on the weekend! :D

Result on the parcel front! contacted the company who have refunded my delivery charge and were very understanding. They are going to take the complaint up with Parcelforce.

Managed to get a code for 90 free days rental with Lovefilm yesterday so have reactivated my account and will cancel before the 90 days are up. Bring on the free films!

Gonna do a quick tidy up round house in a bit, pop some lunch on, then we are taking the kids swimming.

Not much else to report today!

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday!

    Hels xxxx
  • Just popped back to say

Silvercharming - is it actually today for you as well?? If so, the same applies :)

Congratulations too to YorkshireChick - another OS baby on the way!

Sistercas, your poor DH, sounds horrible, I hope he's on the mend soon.

And I forgot earlier to say welcome to so many newbies too, it's lovely to see you.

    Hi everyone!

Wow - everybody's been so busy! Apologies for not being on here much (again), had an essay due in yesterday and what with rehearsals and shows I ran out of time so had to pull two all-nighters on the library this week. still trying to catch up on sleep - I think the 12 hours last night helped :p never slept that long in my life!

Because I've been in uni so much OS has pretty much flown out of the window, but I'm at home a fair bit this weekend so going to soak a load of beans tonight for some yummy SC beef stew tomorrow! might get some baking in as well - found a really good recipe a few weeks ago for yeast-free bread but haven't had chance to make it for a while...

At w*rk until 5.00 today so going to try and get a training session in if it's not too busy. Chicken salad for lunch today (the curse of being so busy and not cooking is I've put on half a stone in two weeks!), probably chicken with roasted veg tonight - lots of carrots and onions to use up, might go shopping if I get chance because I'm running low on loads of basic stuff. not sure what I'm doing tonight yet, might be going to a friends' because she split up with her fiance last week  and she's struggling a bit. If not then shopping and yet more line-learning - show's in 11 days  . At some point the make up lady needs to try greying up my hair - not an easy task because my hair's naturally bright red:rotfl:

Still trying to catch up on everything that's happened the past couple of weeks, but ((((hugs)))) to anybody who needs one, congrats on the babies (I love babies and regularly have to remind myself that I'm only 23 - blooming hormones  ) and happy birthday to the birthday people - it's my mum's birthday today as well and I'm a bit sad that I'm so far away

blimey - I've written an essay here - if only they were this easy and fun to write!

    xx

I know I've not been around a lot, but this week gone has been so busy! I've been trying to keep to my mealplan, working, working out (ready for the honeymoon later this year) and working on my cross-stitch, so it has been busy. And while I've not stuck exactly to my mealplan, I've worked it out so that I've not needed to buy additional stuff. :)

Today, I'll be going for a haircut and having a look around the market. Not got too much to buy, but I'll be looking for fabric for the favours, and also bargains (as we do, as we do). Then tonight it's going to be a nice quiet night, as the past few weeks have been visiting friends or getting ready for courses, etc. So it'll be nice to do something quiet, as nice as visiting friends can be. :)

I also discovered I've lost a little weight, but have more to go yet! Still, it's fun doing it and realising how virtuous you feel afterwards. I must try and find a luxurious (yet low fat) pudding for tonight, as I really do feel like indulging without bulging!

Have a good day everyone ((((hugs)))) to those in need.

Well the respite is over.....OH is in bed with a dizzy....still he has been fine for 10 days so they are getting further apart.

Sorted out 2 men and a tail lift van for our move 8th April, so we will be insitu for Easter...brilliant!!!

We went out for a walk, and of course it had to entail walking past the house again!!! we were looking to see if we could put a water barrel on, but no way......however when looking round the Argos catalogue for something else I found a syphon which you can use to syphon bath water etc out with, not that we have baths, but we do like a shower every morning!!!!. putting the plug in we could then syphon the water out and use it to water some of the garden, maybe the soap would keep the greenfly and blackfly off my plants!!

We used to save the washing up water if it was not too greasy and chuck that on the garden as well.............

It is a fairly bright day, the wind is blowing, great for drying the washing, but boy, is it cold!!!! I was glad of my hat and gloves this morning.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
