I put my cloths in a bucket with some washing powder and I pour over a kettle of boiling water. I use a long wooden spoon to mix them around and leave them until the water has gone cold before giving them a bit of a scrub by hand and rinsing them out.
I do this because you shouldn't use fabric conditioner on your microfibre cloths and I admit to using it in nearly all my wash loads, plus the only things I regularly wash on a 60C wash are bedding and towels that I like to use softener with.I like to live in cloud cuckoo land :hello:0 -
I've only got one and I have found it is starting to smell no matter how I launder it. Am glad I have only spent out on one (99p hence only bought one to start with) as I am starting to think it is a bit of a white elephant TBHPost Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

I have about 6 and are an orange colour:eek: They normally go in on a darkload in the washing machine. We always have one for a dishcloth (damp) and one dry hanging under the sink to polish up the sides etc.
Cleaner uses them on a friday so they are all washed twice a week.
In the morning, our damp cloth is put in a small sink of very hot water with flash and we wipe the kitchen sides and bin and leave it to soak for a while.

Mine's the same i wash it reg but it stinks!! i only use this one in the kitchen and i rinse it out each time but0 -
I just launder mine with whatever is going in the wash - usually with the towels. I use soapnuts and if I think I need conditioner I use vinegar. If I've done an extra grubby task with them, I soak in Astonish Oxy-clean for about 1 hr then wash and they come out fine. I have just washed down all my paintwork in the hallway with sugar soap before painting and rinsed with clean water and a microfibre cloth. Washed it as above and I can hardly tell the diffence between the one I used for this and the one I use for dusting. (And the paintwork really needed wiping down - especially behind cupboards lol:D )
Bought mine from Home Bargains - 3 for 99p."It is always the best policy to speak the truth-unless, of course, you are an exceptionally good liar." - Jerome K Jerome0 -
I do the same as troll35, just put them in basin with some washing powder and boiling water. Rinse, wring them out and then dry them outside or on airer. They have always come up fine.
Read somewhere that you are not supposed to wash them with towels, it makes them less effective.0 -
