How much for a cleaner???

  • I have a nice story...

My step father had two cleaners who cleaned his house every week for a good five years or so. He got cancer and suffered for over two years and they really helped him - the house would have totally gone to ruin/sluminess if it wasn't for them. A week before he died, he changed his will to include the two cleaners. They were both left a substantial amount of money, as a show of appreciation.

Getting back to the OP's question... I think they were both paid approx £10 an hour, in West London.

Hi i clean for a friend and they pay me £7 per hour, night before last i had a call from their daughter saying they had said i had done such a good job that she wanted to use me too so i will start at hers next week! she is also £7 p/hour. I also work with another friend through an agency and get £12 per hour for that cleaning holiday cottages!

I clean the house. i.e general hoovering, dusting etc and then i tidy..they don't expect me to but have said that they don't mind me moving bits and bobs so i try to change it round a bit so it always looks fresh and tidy! Im a bit of a neat freak and although i moan at home i am too picky and could never have a cleaner as i like things a certain way!
