Just ignore the idiot. ^ We all understand what happened, just a shame there are some idiots with small brains who can't understand things.

Very true. It would be a nightmare.
  • Just to point out, this forum is for Money Saving, is MrsE's thread warning on how to save money by not having to take your cat to the vet after heat exhaustion and being tossed about in the drum of a tumble dryer?

I will not go over the reasons for posting as they have already been said. Its a pet and pet care forum, and yes, its regarding money saving tips. However, MrsE has said she posted this as no doubt there are a lot of pet lovers on this forum, so if she, on this forum could post what happened for the benefit of all pet lovers, then she was exactly right to do so. Nowhere does it say you must only post if it is to do with money saving. And, yes, quite frankly, if MrsE's post saves someone from having an injured kitten/cat getting in to a tumble dryer. HENCE saving money not having to go to vet as this does not happen again, then I 100% applaud her for doing so.

If you have a small child, why not encourage them to walk into the tumble dryer, then switch it on for a few minutes, I'm sure you would receive sympathetic replies to your thread.

NO, I was warning people to double & triple check things for kittens.

Can you quote exactly where I suggested people should save money by not taking their cats to the vets:rolleyes:

Very true of everyone posting on this thread.

It's a shame that an opinion which dosen't fit into the general consenus is frowned opinion.

I lost Ted <<<<<<<< in October, he was only 7 & a half, I didn't expect it to happen for years. It was sudden.
I felt it flash before me again.

Excuse me! Lets not get into this territory.
  • Sorry to hear that MrsE, Ted looks a georgeous cat & well cared for. BTW, I do mean it.
  • aww being a cat owner - i feel for you - and i know the feeling - my poor wee moggy got his claw stuck in his lip when he was doing his usual licking - and couldn't get it out - i had a huge panic at that - so i most definately would have probably been worse in your shoes. At least the wee thing is alright and you did the right thing going to the vet. These things do happen - my cat used to open the door (easily done as it's a push door) and go in himself...needless to say i got rid of that dryer.

I'm prity sure he'll be getting lots of treats! :)
