Yes we too have done this a few times and have never had any problems. Usually tell them this at reception when we arrive. 2 for 1 at holiday inn express imo is excellent value!

Thanks again OP just booked the crown plaza ealing got a club room on 241 for £129 and can use the club lounge for free drinks and snacks and brekkie going in april as daughter is dancing at the royal albert hall as part of the olympic celebrations i know it's a bit out of london but with the tube links will only take us about 25mins and hopefully it will be a bit quieter, never had a club room before hopefully will be nice.

  • Is the Douglas O voucher still current? Also, is the London Docklands hotel close to O2 Arena & transport to & from Kings Cross?

    What am i doing wrong?
I've found the holiday inn Kings Cross (London) for £295 30 sept-3rd Oct on a 3rd party website.
full price on the Holiday Inn website is £450+vat - I was looking at using their 'cheapest' claim to get the first night free if i book direct and found this thread.
So when I use the friends & family link here it works out at £360 - and the 241 link expired in june according to the link?
What am i doing wrong that i'm not getting the super cheap links everyone else seems to be finding & my 3rd party link is still cheaper?
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Not all holiday inns have the 241 offer. The ones that have offers come up in red. Have never seen any london ones with the offer. HTH
  • I have. Last Feb there were loads of 2 4 1s over weekends + also Friends + family too in London.
  • Just booked 4 nights at IC hotel, Malta for the price of 2 - brilliant saving - it's in the half term holiday as well
    Titch :)

the 241 link still works take no notice of the date, are you flexible with your hotel location ie a little bit outside london with good tube links?

just checked and 30th sept till 3rd oct holiday inn kensington forum (walking distance to royal albert hall, science museum, natural history museum, victoria & albert museum) much nicer than the one in kings cross in my opinion;) £264.45 for 2 people using 241 and f&f.:)
