Another chapter to my saga:
I called up the hotel and the lady there confirmed that they have my booking.
I asked her to enter my Priority Club # so that I will get the points.
She was unable to do that as the system wouldn't accept it.
She said to bring my card along and they'll sort it out.
We both agreed that there must be a glitch in the system today.
I asked if she needed to see anything from me on the day - "Only the confirmation number," was the reply.


But I'll bring the F&F form along , just in case they want it.

I was knocking up my last message and had not seen it at the time.

Is the internet a wonderful invention?
We would never have been able to pool our knowledge in this way and get the good rates from these companies
My husband was not impressed with the myriad rates on offer - he thinks it's a disgrace since people without internet access would be disadvantaged. But c'est la vie.

I don't believe you get points on the F&F rate. You do get upgrades though if you are a platinum member.

I used it in Gerona Spainand the lady at check in asked for the form and seemed very familiar with the whole F&F sceme, so I would always take a copy just in case.

Didn't think you got points with F&F rates, although the express/priority check in still works.

I have used this so many times since finding this thread, I can't thank the OP enough!

Just got a room in Slough-Windsor for £38, very pleased.

As for the voucher, I always take it with me. I would say I have been asked for it at least 50% of the time so never risk it.

Does anyone know if I can bok 2 lots of 2 for 1 - I ant to sty for 4 nights and wondered if I would be allowed to do it in 2 separate bookings

i've done it lots of times just tell them when you checkin that you are staying 4 nts not 2 and ask to keep your room on, thats what i do and never had a problem yet;)
