    Hi,

Strange... it seems to be working fine for me. Could you try this direct link: -

    http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/6c/1/en/c/1/content/dec/teaser/6c/1/en/lp/emea/fresh.html?rateCode=IKEX3&cm_mmc=partnership-_-exclusive-_-35-_-retail

and tell me if that works? Thanks.

    Hi,

Just a quick note about how to book Holiday Inn hotels (this includes Intercontinentals, Crowne Plazas, Hotel Indigos and Express by Holiday Inns). If you just get a quote from IHG's website, it will not be the cheapest because they are always running special deals. All these rates have limited availability and some hotels may not run them at all - if not, the website will suggest nearby hotels or other available rates.

Unless you are 100% certain you will make the booking do not book these rates, as they are non-refundable. However, if you do make a booking and can't make it, most hotels will let you move it to another date subject to paying the difference in price, but this is at the hotel's discretion.

    Quote:
Friends and family rate - FRIENDS AND FAMILY RATE (IHG endorsed link) (book before 30th September)
(N.B. Search on Google for an alternative link if you have problems with the one above.)
This rate is open to Friends and Family of IHG employees - the link above was sent to IHG by a senior manager so is okay to use.

You need to print out a voucher and fill in the employees name as "Anthony Bainbridge" and the location as "Denham Head Office". Update 6th June: - It's really important you take this with you to the hotel or else in theory you could be charged full rate, or lose your deposit. Please don't forget - it's worth at least saving the voucher when you make your booking!

This link typically gives about 40% off normal rates, although people have reported up to 50%+, so always check this route! Please note you don't get Priority Club points for these reservations, which means you won't receive any qualifying nights towards promotions such as "Stay twice, get a free night" (above).

    Morning Obukit,

Could you explain this to me please. On the voucher form it states that booking should be make bet. June & 30th Sept. Does it mean that I can book the rooms during this period for accomodation in Dec 09. Or does the accomodation have to be taken up bet. June & Sept only? Thank you.
RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)

    Hi,

It's the booking that has to be done before the end of September - reservations can be made up to a year in advance. So, booking now and staying in December is no problem at all.

It's probably worth printing or saving the voucher now, though, in case they remove it at the end of the promotion.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks Obukit. I have already saved the voucher form in my docs.

    Thanks for that. Works fine.

Unfortunately I'm looking for hotels in the Antipodes! F&F works for one location down there, but not another.

The above rate and Leisure Saver seem only to be for UK and Europe.

    Hi,

I'm afraid so - unfortunately apart from Friends and Family the rest of the promotions will only work in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. There should be other offers for New Zealand but it's beyond my expertise.

FlyerTalk have a really good list of loads of IHG rate codes, including some for NZ - good luck finding a bargain.

I hope you have a fantastic trip!

Is this still OK to use this as it's past 31st May? (I'm getting a promotional rate coming up fine online today).
Assuming it's still OK to use this, can I just check what to put in the voucher? I realise I have to put the employee name as Anthony Bainbridge, but on my form it says under this 'Destination Hotel' ( there's nowhere to put location of the referrer on the form as far as I can see)- is this where I should put Denham Head Office or have I to put the hotel I'm staying at here?
Sorry to be so thick, just want to be sure I'm doing it right. Thanks

    Hi,

Yep, to confirm, they've extended the offer, so you can make bookings until 30th September 2009.

They've also removed the employee's hotel, so just put "Anthony Bainbridge" on the voucher, and write the name of the hotel you're going to. No need to write Denham Head Office.

    Hope that helps!
